Technically your framerate wouldn't increase but I think your ram went full on everytime you played. so increasing ram helped your computer to like umm focus on the game even more. (i think)

Actually the ram is much faster than the virtual memory, for example: the RAM is the Ferrari, the virtual RAM on an HDD is like a bycicle, and the virtual RAM ON an SSD is like an average motorcycle

That's why they put a limit in the engine and if possible faster to go. But then the engine dies even faster after chipping and a certain time 😀. That's why if you plan to use a large virtual ram, boost other components as well... put a new SSD drive, a stronger power supply as well as other parts and there's no problem 👌
Don't do this! RAM and Hard Drive are made for different purposes. RAM is used frequently by your PC and Hard Drive can't take that much amount of stress. At the end, you'll ruin your HDD. So Please don't do it

Loading times are always dependent on the game. The only way most games will probably load faster is with a faster hard drive. There is no magic trick that will make everything load much faster all of a sudden.
hey, thanks before i started i only had 4gb of ram. I wanted to increase so my games would run better on it. And it did increase. Its now 7.29gb. But im not sures its made my game run faster though. I might have to try and increase it again to 16gb if i can, see if that helps

Don't forget that doing this will increase the chance of BSoD when you are doing something or you are playing, i say this because me in my other PC did this and well, the computer does run better than before, but it crashes sometimes and it appears a BSoD, so i recommend that if you do this, first of all do it in a virtual machine or another PC, then if you see it's doing great do it on your PC.
Well I own a Galaxy Book3 with 8gb ram and I have space for a 2nd nvme drive. My main drive where windows runs from is a 2TB samsung 980 Evo nvme and I have a 256GB samsung nvme not being used, I'm gonna install that one in the laptop and use it only for virtual ram, where I will allocate 24GB to it or even 32.
