- I have never used ketoanalogues for my kidney disease patients in the United States. However, In Pakistan, and perhaps in India, amino acid supplements are considered an essential part of the prescription of kidney disease patients.
Is there any evidence supporting the use of these supplements? Do they provide any real-time benefit to the patient or just bleed his bank? Even more important, rather than improving their health, could they harm the patient?
This video explains what ketoanalogues are, the research behind their use, who may benefit from these supplements, and why not every kidney disease patient should use them.

Sir yeh tu blessing in disguise hai. Ketosteril kay istamal ki zarorat he nahi hai. or mujy yaqeen hai aap kay case mai be is ki koi zarorat nahi ho ge. Anyways, is kay alternatives available hain. Apni kareebi pharmacy say check kijiy ga.

My father is ckd patient. Age ,61 . Diagnosed with ckd in feb 2022.

Bp 120-125 in summer; 130 in winters
Sugar - No
Urine PcR ratio is 0.12
Phosphorous 3.30
Potassium 4.23
Chloride 106
Diagnosed with 40% blockage on right renal artery.
He is taking keto analogue along with prebiotics that we kept in refrigerator.
Already he is on low protein diet.
Should he continue with keto analogue?
I am not sure why he need to do any of the things he is doing. I dont see any reason for ketoanalogues, or probiotics, or low protein diet. And the basic kidney protective medicines that he should use, he is not using.

Sir meri ami sugar bp ki patient hain . Age 66 hai. Last month ami ka creatinine 1.33 or eGFR 43 tha jo k 40 days bd again test kraya to creatinine 1.78 or eGFR 31 aya. Test krane se 1 din phle unhe galy ma pain tha to meri ami ko drip lage or pain killer laga tha . Nephrologist ne xenglu met, omsana, calsium and vitamin D tablet khane ko di hain. Ap please btain treatment sahe chal rha hai. Or creatinine ma suddenly increase kiu aya. Dr shb ne kitostrill kiu nahe di. Or kb tk Mai dialysis se rok sakta hu.

My creatine is 1.5 and everything elae is normal dr advises me to take ketostetil, taking for last 6 months, creatine varues from 1.3-1.5, should i stop ketosteril its very costly
Ketosteril has no role for your kidneys. Please don't waste your money. Adopt a healthy lifestyle instead. For your kidneys, make sure your have checked your urine for protein and you should have a baseline ultrasound to note the size of your kidneys,

@@ManishChauhan-zj7mu Ji no role of probiotics in CKD at all. Please eat an apple a day and a include salad in your meals. You will get all the benefits of probiotics from that. Again, dont waste money on probiotics. Do you know the diagnosis of your CKD, meaning what has caused your CKD?
@@kidneyblogs thanks a lot for replying and taking time from your busy schedule, sir i have a stone removal rirs surgery 1 year ago and at that time i have uti also and i had fever for 20 days,that time my creatine raised to 1.7 but after one month of RIRS surgery creatine back to normal, after one month I again check and creatine is 1.5 from that time my creatinine varies between range of 1.3- 1.5 and i have taken probiotics and ketoanalogues for almost a year now after you said that it has no role I have stop both of them , I'm. Really very worried
My uncle age is 59 and He currently reported 6.2 creatinine.
He has diabetes and blood pressure as well. Nephrology recommendation is bp tablets and iron, calcium tablets and after 2 week test again and come.
Is this good recommendation s?
That what a doctor usually does. But your main questions to your uncle's nephrologist are what is diagnosis, what is his CKD stage, how are we going to treat it, and when would he require dialysis.
