@@chadyoak1633 Not yet. But, I'm close to finishing up a new solo album called Sea Tea. I will be making that available in the not too distant future. I will announce it on my channel here, when it becomes available.
Dude you are an awesome player thank you so much for the video I’m going crazy about Sloar guitars and this color in particular so I hope I will some day have it for myself :)
I got my s1.6pp about 3 weeks ago. I love it, but, do wish the purple was more like the website. Fyi, according to my wife's kitchen scale, mine is 7lbs, 12oz.
thanks for posting the weight. After narrowing down spec wise the pickups and bridge i need, my guitar choice purchase choice is literally is coming down to weight. I have a A2.6W (mahogany) right now and there is absolutely no way I would go lighter. I've always played heavier guitars and it's weird getting used to shit bouncing around. ...primarily upgrading for the evertune!!!
plan on having a play on one of these at guitarguitar with the plans to potentially pick one up, it's on the shortlist anyway! For that money though I need to make sure I gel with it first
Oh how I want one but all the negative reports of major QC issues and no real response from Solar about the QC issues is still keeping me away. But damn that guitar is gorgeous! Looks more death purple on the website though.
Hey. I Just got my solar s1.6pb 27". I cant tune IT to Drop c.. the Tuning screw comes to an end.. can you Help me? It was factory in Standard b. Does it mean i cant tune IT Higher?
Is it me or does it look different on the website? There's no brown/orange on the burl on the website Edit: it seems on the website, it goes from dark purple to light purple while here it goes purple to orange/brown?
WarDoveReviews I agree with the guys actually I was going crazy for the color but I’ve seen Ola Englund with one of these in his videos and it looked a proper two purple color not just a purple burst on the sides I wonder if we can email Solar guitars about this before buying the guitar
It's tough to gauge the quality of a guitar I've not held in years (solar)... I don't remember the Solar having any issues whatsoever. It was a very solid guitar. The Vola is without flaw. Fit and finish is immaculate. The Vola is much lighter. Which IMO, is not as good. I don't care for super heavy guitars, but I like to feel the guitar against me with a fair tug on the strap. The Vola is like a feather in comparison. I don't enjoy the way a light guitar moves around so easily when changing positions. I feel like I have to chase it around compared to a guitar like the Solar, that stays put and is where I expect it to be at all times. Hope that helps.
Do these do standard tuning as well? I’m a beginner and don’t know drop tuning yet, but I really want one of these, especially this finish. I have a Les Paul which is my first guitar but I want something that does metal like this.
Wow shit it sounds so good man. I was thinking about getting a PRS guitar but Solar really offers better guitars for the fat sound. I'm a little worried about the jumbo frets because I'm a beginner who tends to use a lot of grip force.
Thank you. I create and review my video's exclusively on my phone. For some reason, my phone automatically balances the audio. After reading your comment, I watched on my PC and you're so right! I will have to edit audio on my pc from now on. Thanks for pointing this issue out to me. :)
What a good looking guitar. Matched with such a good looking guy.
I just ordered my S1.6PP after watching this video, it's totally your fault. Thank you!
I have the blue version with a Floyd Rose and I totally confirm that these are great guitars.
Awesome guitar! but you man, are soo great!
I looked up your band that you sing for and WOW!!! I was blown away!!
Thanks Man!
Chris Tompkins I would’ve never guessed you had a voice like that haha. Are any of your songs on iTunes or anything like that?

Chris Tompkins I’ll definitely be a customer
What’s the name of the band ?

Sick playing and tone!
Sounds and looks great.
Some hella good sounds there. Thanks for the demo!
2:29 - 2:40 anyone know that riff? I’m so exhausted searching
If you find it, I'll have to wonder how you got into my house!!! That's a riff from a "yet to be released" song of mine that I wrote. LOL!!😁
I'm really tempted to buy this guitar. It looks stunning. I have a 7-string solar, but I need something good for low tuned 6-string stuff.
Wow, you can play, thanks for the awesome review! Keep it chugging ;)

nice playing btw!
can you do a video about the licks that you played?
Hi, do you recomend me this one above the Prs se custom 24 Mark holcomb??
Any way to get your heavy plugin? I bought the Neural DSP software, but it doesn't sound as good as your patch ;)

Bslazekan5 I was just thinking the same thing, I wanted one because of the 2 tone purple look, kind of glad I went with the black burst one instead.
They look great in person, its really how the light hits it. The perspective of color can change if you photo graph with a flash and without a flash.

Dunno if it's just the lighting, but mine looks more like the website pic to me imgur.com/a/NKzbspz
@@umosay Thanks. Looks gorgeous. I want one!
good job...grest vid
I know I'm a bit late to the party, but how does this guitar compare to the Vola OZ in terms of quality=

@@ChrisTompkins-Music-And-Gear Thanks a lot for the reply man, it really helps. Didn‘t consider the weight thing. It surely is important

Yes. You can tune these any way you like.
Just checking in, hows the finish holding up? Really interested in this exact guitar also nice playing \m/
A Okay!! Beautiful guitar, you wouldn't regret it.

Did u have to pay any customs fees? I heard there are some let me know ?
Yes. Customs fee was between $70 and $80 bucks additional.
What gauge strings are you using?
I think this had 10 - 52's on it.
Beautiful guitar!!! Just a shame it’s matte, I prefer high gloss
Nice review. Just please balance audio better, playing is significant louder than talking making it hard to watch.
