Poplar burl, not poplar burst. Why are you saying these are made in Spain? Ola is Swedish and that's where the company is based, but the guitars are made in Indonesia? It says made in Indonesia on the back of the headstock.
They are in Sant Gregori, Spain and that's where my shipping manifest came from, if I recall now. Thanks for the correction on the Burl/Burst. I had to go look at the headstock and I'm not sure why I didn't think to do that first, but I'm old and I can't see shit. Internet 1, Marky 0.
Yup yup gotcha. Fortunately, what I'm showing with the sound and talking about with the feel of playing it is hopefully the part of the video that matters to people
Ola, been taking care of my sick father for a little over 2 yrs and haven’t been able to afford shit dude to having to quit my job when dad got sick….if there’s anything you can do to maybe help me get a good guitar for not a lot of $, I’d be forever grateful….Not lying about my situation either, just am a fan of your stuff and see what a good dude you are, thought it’d be worth a shot. Regardless dude, God bless, keep rockin
These are metal guitars. With some options for tone but at the end of the day the pickup on these are solid 9/10 cause they are designed for metal. Only pickup that I know that can do a lot more that you can get on solars are fishman.
I’ve been on the Fence about getting a solar guitar… seen mixed reviews on fretboard cracking issues. How’s yours holding up ? Just picked up an LTD Ironcross and LTD KH602… want one now with an ever tune bridge… never tried one. If you could get one solid guitar with an ever tune what would u recommend?
The Solar is holding up quite well. If I was to get anything at all with an Evertune, I would either order a custom Kiesel with one or go with an ESP. The build qualities are superior.
@@MusicWithMarky evertune is a weird system, i know have two guitars with evertune and on one (the solar baritone) its as good as useless if you want a baritone to play with alternate string sizes and tunings … you just cant because if you do the recommended string calculations on the evertune site, your out of luck, because the baritone comes with standard cradles and the others are then recommended. So that is sh*t but on a regular guitar with normal string size and Regular to drop-D tuning … (in my case a solar T1.6D it works like a charm and after a pickup change, i am literally in love with that guitar) I mention a pickup change because you are right Marky, the Duncan Solar pickups are not the best sounding pups out there … and they are all the same pickups the expensive guitars or the cheap guitars, if they have duncan solars they are the same pickups, i know because CC told me … this is what they said …. All the Duncan Solar models are the same (for now). Neck based off the Duncan 59 / Bridge based off the Duncan Custom 5.....no differences among Duncam Solars, orher than being 6/7/8 string obviously....
Excellent your analysis. Very consistent. In your opinion, Evertune serves well from a beginner musician to even the most established? Congratulations for the excellent work always.
Oh yes the Evertune is great for anyone. The initial setup can be tricky if it doesn't come the way you want it, but once it's there you never have to think about tuning again. You'll just have to adjust intonation occasionally like any guitar.
@@janibiswas4443 you might want to consider just sticking with whatever language you speak natively. Because after two attempts you still managed to make zero sense in English.

Thanks!

That's pretty cool. I have to go find an interview with him now.

As long as that solar isn't Indonesian that's pretty sick
Whats the problem if Indonesian?
Probably more than half the worlds guitars are made in Indonesia ...
I don't think people from the western world realize how immense the population in Indonesia is.
The chug guy is kinda....boring
I like his videos for the most part. We're very different players and content creators, but I still appreciate what he does
