Beautiful work! I think the yellow really pops on the purple, and you have a good eye for matching the hand dyed/printed fabric to the pattern. I like your comparison between the floss brands, I’ve just started to experiment with Sulky so it’s nice to hear opinions on the other brands. From you I’ve heard about Soda, the patterns are adorable!!

I'm starting Miss Cherry Blossom this month too except I'm stitching her on Zweigart 18ct celadon aida, I'm excited to see your progress on her and Makiling. Are you planning to stitch Makiling's wings? I've seen some people leave them out. Not to be that person but on Merejka's UA-cam channel they pronounce it mer-EYE-ka haha. I have their Thomas Kinkade kits and I like the ones you have shown on your flosstube.
Yep, I’m planning on stitching the wings! I’ve always known her as a fairy so I will be including it. I’ve seen her stitched without and it’s still as gorgeous so I don’t think you can go wrong with either option!

Do you use your Velke Potoky all the time? And can it be use on the couch or just at the table? Does the 11*11 qsnap work well with it? I would love to see your stitching spot. Always love to see your video!
Hi! I use my Velke potoky when I travel, on my desk or when I sit outside. You can stitch on the couch with it but you’ll have to place it in your lap so it can be wobbly depending on how fidgety you get on your couch. The biggest frame I’ve used on it is the 11x11 and you have to put it on the most upright position in order to flip the frame. It can hold bigger ones but you won’t be able to flip the frame completely. I don’t have an “official” stitching spot in my living room, but one day I’ll film a video when my husband and dog aren’t all over the place 😂
Bernadette, I have a question. With Bella Filipina designs, what do you use for specialty threads / beads ? I love the designs, only the floss is so expensive
