Love your finishes! So if you like doing the hole in the back of the pillow method, what I do is cut out a felt heart or square or circle and tack it down with double sided tape then blanket stitch around it to secure it. Super cute finish. Let me know if you want to see a photo of a finish. My Santa got me a serger sewing machine for Christmas and I'm a little afraid of it! LOL. I asked for it, because my daughter uses hers all the time, but it's intimidating!
Just found you this morning and I had to subscribe! My interest in cross-stitch has been revived (esp. in a season of sewing fails that I've had recently. haha!) Had to laugh when you said your husband humors you. SAME. I know he's probably thinking "WHY ME?!?!?!" when I'm rambling on about my project. But he at least pretends and even asks relevant questions. Bless his heart. 😂Thanks for all the inspo in this video! And I'm looking forward to seeing your sewing skills grow too!
Awesome FFO’s, I am like you haven’t done much and watching all kinds of how to videos in order to do some finishing. You have so many beautiful projects going. Hope you get some good rest soon.
Hi Bernadette! Your stitching is just lovely. I am patiently waiting on my Soda Stitch floss and fabric from 123 Stitch so I can join in on Soda Stitch Saturdays.
I just subscribed! You always do beautiful projects! And your finishing is very lovely! Vonna Pfieffer shows how to make a pattern and sew a great envelope project bag. Keep stitching and finishing beautiful things!
Yeah Bern, stop yawning. Making me sleepy as well. 😊.but I love your stitching. Go get tested, you want to be sure you don't have Covid. I was tired like that and no energy and that was the issue. If not get more rest so you can come back being your cheerful self. ❤
I’m starting to feel livelier! I haven’t gotten much sleep from working a lot, but work is slowing down to its normal pace and I can finally catch up on my sleeps!
Hi Bernadette. I was watching your video last night and opened my email this morning. Heart in Hand is coming out with 3 more Tiny Towns at Market. I haven't bought one yet. I have so many other patterns. I'm not immortal and I'm getting up there in years. My wrists really hurt after stitching. Love all your projects and I'm thinking of getting the SS Cleaning Day. When are you going to tackle a project bag you make? I'm trying to get my "craft room" in order before garden season (May) and I'm not doing too well. I want to paint it before putting much in it. I need to get the bed out first. I'm tired just thinking about it.
I have the new Tiny Towns in my Wishlist! I will be getting them sometime in the next few months. I actually just made my first project bag this weekend, you'll see it on my next video :)
Hi! Fabric is 36ct Cappuccino by Fiber on a Whim. The flosses were 98% called for from the design. The only adjustment I made is Rose Garden and Burnt Orange. I didn’t have those flosses so I eyeballed and used flosses close enough. Mine were Victoria Motto flosses but you can definitely just use DMC

I bought a serger and am also afraid of it😅 🤣It’s on my “to tackle” list for April.
That's a great idea! I will try this next time

Hello, your stitching is beautiful! What color floss did you use for the skin on the Clean Day pattern?
I cant remember off the top of my head, but I used Lord Lidiban's skin conversion chart.
Do you have the Fabric and Floss details on your Feast of Friendship stitch? I want to do mine exactly like yours lol

Hello, I enjoyed seeing your wips. Thanks for sharing. I’m a new viewer and I just want to know if you are from Guam?
Welcome to my channel! I am not - my family is from the Philippines
