I done the Pap of Glencoe a number of year's ago now,it may not be the highest of mountains but it sure does get the heart rate up,the rocky section at the top can be pretty tricky underfoot whatever the weather.. amazing views from an amazing wee mountain, thanks for sharing another great adventure with us 🏴
Sun, snow, just stunning mountains and lochs, every crag and ravine picked out in the low angle sun. Awe inspiring summit views all around and back to the mamores and the top of Garbh Bheinn that you climbed in near 30 degree heat last summer, Scotland's wonderful weather variety, what would we do without it!! Felt sorry for the poor cattle, standing with a bit of manky hay in sub-zero conditions, no sign of a warm byre to shelter in.😢
Hi mate, wow absolutely stunning what views from probably one of the smaller hills in the area. Looked a chilly one. Thanks as always for sharing. I’m off out in to the hills of the north eastern Lake District to mow, can’t wait. All the best, Dave 😀🥾⛰🏴🏴
Great content, photography and chat. Really makes you feel you are there. Your photo of you facing the loch is very reminiscent of the painting by Casper David Friedrich, a classic painting and a classic video to match.
Really enjoyed this video. Brought back a few memories for us as we did the Pap a few years ago. We had a glorious day in May and like you were able to enjoy the views from the top. So pleased you got to the top and were able to enjoy the views. Even when it’s freezing cold day it makes it all worthwhile. Keep getting out there and sharing your adventures. We will be following along.
WOW!! Those views were amazing! I first went to Scotland 73 years ago! Grandparents lived in Dunbar, so sadly did not get to see the Highlands! Just love Scotland. All the best, John.
The pap was the first mountain we tried tae walk up and got to the shoulder but didny realise how steep it was , great vlog and your looking across beyond Loch Linnhe to moidart , sunart and the ardnamurchan peninsula
Great video pal with some great views. I did Aonach Eagach many years ago on a beautiful May day. We had the option to continue to the Pap but the lure of The Clachaig and a pint proved to be more enticing. Just shows you what i missed !!!
Watching this a bit late but hey loved it as usual!! Great videos man, keep them coming! Appreciate the efforts you put in to record them and edit them 🫂
WOW! Juswt wow! Since I first set eyes upon it in 1974, I always fancied doing that one myself, but never got around to it - so, thanks for sharing it! Those are pretty special views, and in every direction, too. The mountains in the background at 03:20 are on Morvern, which is one of those relatively unknown parts of Scotland with incredible scenery.
Nice vid👍 Love those sunny crisp days 😍 The views are great from this wee hill.. Think your winter trek looks better than my summer one did.👍 The path is in a terrible condition in parts , either you skipped that part or the snow and ice covered it..? I personally think Buachaille Etive Beag is easier , mainly because the path is far better ..
Yeh I think the snow must’ve covered the bad parts. Seemed to be fairly easy on the snow. Think I found this one easier due to us getting some pretty awful weather on buachaille etive beag😂😂
I admire you and other climbers/explorers who not only have the energy for adventure but to make great films for others to enjoy. Did you drop something at the summit just as you were leaving or perhaps it was just a stone?
The path is awful up there.. maintenance has fallen between the various players in Glencoe.. I think it’s a combination of forestry and a private owner in glencoe
Sorry to go off on a tangent, but im scratching my head as to why a group of your earliest videos have dropped off the viewing list. Is this just a U tube thing? I was prompted by your mention of the Bidean and looked to your earlier exploit on that hill from wild camp in the hidden valley??
Stunning area

Thanks mate, luckily the snow and ice covered the path which made it slightly easier. Glad you enjoyed
The scenery, the sound design and ambience are just phenomenal my friend!

Yeh got really lucky with the views this time. Thanks for the comment :)
Great views nothing beats Scotland in the winter , appreciate the video difficult enough hiking in the snow without having to film .
Thanks mate. Worth the effort for those views 100%
Very good video. The views are amazing especially behind you as you climbed to the summit. Many thanks.

Thanks Mike. Had to look that up but I’m very grateful for the comparison. Glad you enjoyed the vid😊
Aye, it was his "Wanderer above the sea of fog" that made me think of the comparison, even though they are nearly 200 years apart 😊 Both classics now.
Beautiful ❤

That’s a shame, hopefully you get to visit again soon
You got a great day for it mate. 👍🏼
Stayed at the pub along the little road at the foot of the pap at Xmas and a beautiful area 👍
Yeh it’s a great area
Great video as always fella!! - keep up the good work... ATB - Tom
Thanks Tom. All the best

Ahhh is that where it is. Will have to check out that area, looked amazing
@ScottishSummiteer the Ardnamurchan is one of the last wee wild bits left in Scotland , very little tourism in that area
Great video pal with some great views. I did Aonach Eagach many years ago on a beautiful May day. We had the option to continue to the Pap but the lure of The Clachaig and a pint proved to be more enticing. Just shows you what i missed !!!
Yeh it’s a great mountain. You should give a shot if you get the chance
Stay warm! Great video!

Beautiful postcard views on this hike, but once you were on the exposed top, the thought icicles in your testicles, popped into my head lol
Nice vid👍

Another enjoyable video, poor cows why did they stink so much 😂😂
Not sure haha
Cracking video. Given you a sub. 😊
Thanks mate

Thanks for the kind words mate. Yeh it was the wind muff from my mic. But luckily I saw it and grabbed it before heading down :)
Great hike mate. 👍🏼
Always take a spare pair of gloves! The gloves you take off put them inside your jacket and they will stay warm for when you put them back on.
Will definitely do that in the future. Putting on cold gloves isn’t much fun

They are not crampons
Do you feel better now 🙄?
