What a difficult movie! Cheers, man! :)
@@MovieRatingAndRanking thanks! So does that mean you’re not a fan of the film?
I've only ever seen it twice. The first time at a midnight showing and came away so disappointed but maybe I need to give it another go. Great review 💪
Thank you!
FWIW, I didn’t like it at first either. But I’ve come around on it.
It's incredible how much hate you get when you say you like The Last Jedi. I loved it and consider it to be my favorite Star Wars movie
Ya, it’s a shame. I feel like internet discourse has gotten very warped around this movie.
It's my fav of the sequel trilogy.
Excellent choice. I think I have to agree (tho, I do think The Force Awakens is very entertaining despite being fairly hollow).
My personal favorite Star Wars movie after Empire
Wow! That’s high praise! You like it better than A New Hope?
Thanks for sharing your opinion. Very interesting 😍👍
Thanks for watching!
You’re Welcome 😍🙋🏼♀️
I’ve seen it 3 times, the first I wasn’t sure what I felt. I went and read comments online and started agreeing with it then went and watched a second time and just couldn’t stand it.
I rewatched all the sequels again after a couple of years during lockdown with the idea of a clean slate in mind. And I have to say; I wouldn’t have said I enjoyed it more, but i think I respected it more for like the comments in this video about challenging existing themes and trying to create something new. As I believe if left to others we would have just gotten empire strikes back again but not as good similar to how force awakens was almost a copy and paste of a new hope. That being said rise of skywalker is and always will be ass to me lol. I’m at peace with the sequels now I don’t particularly like them and probably won’t watch them again but they’re over and we should all move on lol and respect people who did enjoy them.
I respect your take! And I’m glad you came around a bit on TLJ.
I didn’t like it at first either tbh. But looking back, I appreciate it.
@@augustkellerwrites thank you man as I respect yours! It tried to be different. Unfortunately it didn’t stick the landing for a lot of people but I respect it for trying. And I wouldn’t say it’s the worst of the 3. I agreed with most of your points tbh. Have a great day
@@philmicklewright1508 thanks! Same to you!
And ya, I definitely think Rise of Skywalker is significantly worse.
I didn’t watch it. Maybe I‘ll look. I‘ll tell you if I like it or not. ☺️
I’d be interested in your opinion! It has been a very polarizing movie for most people
thanks for reviewing my favorite star wars movie. It's the best time i ever had in imax
Wow! Care to share something you like about it?
@@augustkellerwrites well, the action sequences and the use of the red color were spectacular, the rey/kylo romance was the most compelling of the franchise, even more than han/leia, or anakin/padme. Plus rey is one of my fav movies heroines like katniss and trinity. and the themes of self discovery and good vs evil were better explored in this one
@@alibelyazid225 thanks for sharing! Idk if I’m as enthusiastic as you are but I think you made great points 👍🏼
