Dave I have long enjoyed your videos ....You're so soothing. Do not think what you are doing is trivial. People like me need people like you....even during the best of times...and especially now.
I could sit for hours watching you go through all the jewelry.you truly pick out some beautiful pieces.and you have taught me a lot of what to look for.thanks Dave love your videos.
Hi Dave, at 24:19 you mention the brooch has a pin and a loop, for a watch chain ? I thought the loop on those brooches was the wear as a pendant on a chain, or pin on as a brooch ! Up here near Vancouver, Canada we are all shut-ins too. So I have been doing the same as you, going through all my jewelry collections, and sorting them out. It's a great way to spend the day, and the hours just fly by ! Take care of your little family, and don't forget to phone somebody !
Thanks for sharing your treasures ... my little 8 year old daughter wants to start a brooch collection We've started with some from Grammas old jewelry Take care
Loved the video. Several pieces I would like! Oh look at the honeysuckle, I’ve never seen a bush, only a vine I believe. Around here, Maryland, they don’t bloom this early, more towards May/June.
every time I see that antique pin/broach/w/the antique dropper i go crazy. I think they are very rare. I hope if you sell it you get a lot of money for it. you have the best pin collection i think ive ever seen. and that broach is to die for.
Hello Dave! The stone of the celtic sword is most probably scottish marble that comes in either green or red, if I'm not mistaken. The City Chambers of Glasgow are a wonderful place to see scottish marble, if ever you go in wonderful Scotland!
Hi Dave nice selection of pins ... (we call them brooches here🇬🇧) my favourite is the Christmas reindeer it’s lovely...you have more than enough jobs to occupy you as well as interacting with the kids... stay safe love to Lindsey as well 🙏🙏💛🇬🇧
Some watches were worn on lapels of women school teachers, librarians etc...turn of the century and I have seen it in photos and movies...love the items as you go through them❤️
FDR & Eisenhower pinback buttons are repros probably from the 1970s or 1980s. Throw them in the $1 box at the flea markets. Enjoy your videos. Started at the Golden Nugget way back in 1983.
Min. 34:18 KEEP THE BRONZE BEAR Eventually by Michel Bassompierre. His sculptures look alike and are sold worldwide, mostly by Sotheby's, Christies etc.
Nice to see somebody at least making money, and bees making honey! 18:06 The accepted term is rollover clasp. 18:41The image was blurry but that looks like a WWI-era clasp on there. They're funny-looking and have a lever that acts "backward". They went out in the early 20s more or less. The tube hinges and C clasps disappeared mostly by 1900, but I've seen them on 1950s and 60s traditional Scandinavian jewelry. 25:36 Probably a gas station premium from the 60s or later - not a 30s/40s campiagn button. The Ike one is probably the same. The back of the pin itself is all wrong for "old". I have a few of the old ones my grandmother collected off of her even older brothers; the backs on those are unmistakable.
When you have duplicate items and sell the first one via an auction you can also sell the second one to the highest under bidder via ebay's "second chance offer" option.
Hey, buddy. if the pearl on the birds brooch is real, let us know on your next video...nice! That WWII shotglass bullet is unique, being from that specific era!!! You have bought thousands of pins in the last year , year and a half? If you sell them at a dollar each, that means thousands of dollars, buddy! You know what to buy. CONGRATS! Bring more videos!
Quite a enjoyable video. Thank you for not talking about what is going out there in the world, I am getting ever so irritated by it. I know I know, it's a serious matter... it is just nice to get away once in a while. 🤗🇩🇰 🌷💜💗💜🌷💜💗💜🌷 Please take care of each other. 🌷💜💗💜🌷💜💗💜🌷
Is that an actual key? The two little birds are pretty. Could that Wallace pin be a real piece? Meaning it belongs to a real Wallace family member, lol. I have the weirdest imagination. You need to use a magnifying glass to examine the details. Goat Rodeo? Lol, and I thought I had a weird imagination.😆 Put a thimble with a few of those bobbins you got and sell them together.
Pins pins and more pins Honey has her eyes in the Butterfly Pins she will check eBay IF you guys wanna see The butterfly frames Check blue bus Dave Facebook under community section.✌🦋🦋 Thank you Dave for the videos is keeping us Entertained and SANE.

What has happened to you Dave I haven't seen any new video's on you tube from you in a couple of year's always enjoyed them.
08:55 - Liztech! 10:34 - is the shell center a replacement? It looks like a reused button.

Is the house clean out done?
Those scissors wonder if they are stylist or Barber shears. Especially being from Germany
LARGE, SHARP brooches~the original social distancing device.😄😄😄
Can I ask you, do you clean your costume jewellery before selling on line ?
I do, but I don’t clean the silver.
