Happy to report the game holds up incredibly well and one of the best co-op games currently available. Been keeping an eye on the figures for years...
Imagine if in the next game you finish off the final boss by having a beam lock power struggle where basically you just bash and move around every possible controller button and analog stick which both beams getting bigger and bigger until your beam takes up the entire screen

Finally after searching a few days I know how to counter the beam. I play with touchscreen and It's really difficult to do it but this is easier than Darius Burst
Thats why G darius is the best game in the darius games..... because of the capture ball and Charge laser clash..... I feel like i keep watching gohan and cells Kamehame Ha! clash.....
When the boss makes a flamethrower more dangerous than a beam that can destroy planets P.S. I love how if you take all upper stages (less difficult route) fire Fossil comes with the final boss theme "Adam" while the final boss Lightning Coronatus comes with "H.G. Virus" theme. It almost feels like Fire Fossil is the true final boss. Prior to taking the upper route, I would always take the lower route because I was bad at dodging Tripod Sardine's "cutter" attack so I would fight Queen Fossil instead. When I first fought Fire Fossil, I thought it was Queen Fossil's revenge or something as it looked like Queen Fossil but with her metal heated to red from the lava and the flamethrower just being a method of releasing heat to prevent overheating on the inside.
With enough luck, you can do a 5x or even 6x when you have 2 players. one will feed the enemy's beam, the other will absorb the said beam. I and my cousin did it, and the screen is not big enough to show the entire beam. And that's how we fire our Dariburst. :))
I would bet that you would l9ve Radius Burst Chronicle Saviour then given how it has a similar beam system and a ship specifically designed just for it.

fire fossil was always easy to beat on 1player because of the maximum laser that helps you get by matching him ' but dat xhit was awesome wen i had that game i neeeeed it again someone give me that game again
well since no-one replied this is how you do it: make sure you fire the lazer at the enemy's lazer the second once you hit the enemy's lazer with your lazer keep tapping the fire button and don't hold back you need to tap it as fast as you can this will make it stronger and eventually ends the fight almost instantly

My friend and I were playing don't remember the boss but he had a beam so large there was NOTHING but beam on screen for quite sometime.

i love doing the mutiplier counters on the big fish bosses, good stuff.
