I prefer Beefeater, but Tanqueray is still excellent. Does the regular Tanqueray have only Juniper, Coriander, Licorice, and Angelica? Or does it also include citrus peels or other things? They seemed to only focus on Tanqueray 10 in this video.
You are correct the flagship tanqueray is only four botanicals juniper coriander licorice angelica. It's the botanicals that give off a citrus flavor. Kinda mind blowing that only four botanicals can give so much flavor. Enjoy your gin and have a great day
Tanqueray is a good gin. But back in 2006 I believe the gin was way better than what you get now flavor is little difference nowadays. Wish beefeater didnt absolutely screw up the brand from 47% to 44% and now 40% stuff tastes like water in my opinion it's an absolute shame hopefully one day they go back to the same flavor and proof at 47% had.
I have been a fan of Tanqueray for over 40 years,I do try other gins, but I all ways go back to Tanqueray.
I tend to sniff my Tanqueray more than I desire drinking it... It has my favorite scents, fruits & spices, I had no idea 😄
