+Mike's Road Trip Yes, that makes sense... But you can learn AE or Motion too, I got one of those "learn After Effects" books and REALLY dug deep for about 4 months. Then studied hard and got certified by Adobe. You just need to find the time... Once you do it, you can learn anything you want! 😉
+Renata Pereira I agree with you, but time of course is very limited. Lynda.com, that's how I learn about everything new.

Should be perfect weather! We avoided all tolls in Texas along the way and it worked very well, roads are very good. Have fun!
Just an FYI, at 2:36 your statement about the property owners owning what is beneath the ground is not entirely accurate. In West Texas it is VERY uncommon to find a surface owner who owns the minerals beneath their land. The minerals were severed from the surface years and years ago. Those farmers are only entitled to surface damage payments for the pad sites and laying pipelines. In some extremely rare cases you will find land wherein the surface owner is also the mineral owner, but again, it's a rarity.

Planning on driving to Vegas in a few weeks from San Marcos and will be taking the same route you drove and I was wondering the name of the hotel in Albuquerque that you stayed in.
+Terry D Hi, Terry! Wow! How great! In Albuquerque we stayed at the Extended Stay America - Albuquerque - Rio Rancho. It was far from downtown, so if you want to check out downtown I wouldn't recommend. For me it was worth it because of the view (I shot pictures from the window and used in the video) and also because it was inexpensive. I wrote 2 detailed posts about this drive on my blog. Oi, Edson! Obrigada! É bem legal sim, as coisas funcionam bem, as estradas são ótimas e o custo de vida é bem mais baixo que no Brasil (com exceção de Nova York e da Califórnia). Por outro lado, muitas coisas legais do Brasil não existem aqui, tipo o quiosque na praia, o boteco como ponto de encontro de amigos, etc. Aqui as coisas são bem mais formais. É uma cultura bem diferente, por isso muita gente não consegue se adaptar... Abs e tudo de bom!
Meu sonho é ir embora para os US. Vc nasceu em que estado?

Benigna Diniz Depende de onde você vai entregar, porque entregar em outro estado pode sair bem caro. Mas se a ideia é ir e voltar, tranquilo. Antes de alugar, veja se a locadora permite que vc saia do estado com o carro. Algumas permitem, outras não. 😘😘
we once drove from New Orleans to los angeles and then Las vegas, but beware las vegas is sinful i hope you did not gamble.

Renata Pereira sounds fun :) We also drove from nola to miami, and also nola to New York and also ohio, so we have seen a lot of places, I have been very blessed :) I enjoyed driving to miami because as you get to south florida, it has a similar climate to the caribbean, so thees all these tropical plants there that we dont have in nola, so its like we drove to another biome, haha. Also we saw a lot of mountains when we drove to New York in the Appalachains, also we saw the rockies when we went to California.
That's awesome! Same thing happened when we drove to Canada. The landscape changes to much... And you feel so blessed for having the chance to see these things... I love it!!!
