I lived in the Las Vegas through the 70's and right up to the first part of the 90's.I never would have fathom this is how Vegas turned out. Very little is left of the Vegas that I lived in is left. It is truly a different town with more places to eat and be entertained. I am truly envious of you Norma
yah, it seems like many places are being torn down, well considering most do look like they are from ancient times, and has lost that "vibe of Vegas" , - and filled with expensive hotels,...and The Sphere is so unnecessary there in my opinion..., i mean, i'd have a heart attack trying to watch some movie on the huge screens, sitting so high up there?!, Tropicana is gonna be replaced by a baseball field!?~! why? people go to Vegas, to have fun, see shows, extravagant, concerts, music shows that is, I mean, I dont know.... Formula 1 is for the ultra rich people, they are just ruining it, and it's good ol' vibe....🤥

Here in Wisconsin we have our own way of making an old fashion. We use brandy instead of whiskey. We add soda, sweet is sprite, sour is with squirt. A bartender looked at me confused when I said I'll take a brandy old fashioned, sweet. I had to give him the recipe.

Every morning I head down to Ocean One for breakfast tho stay at Flamingo or Linq. Been going there for 20 years 3x/yr. Best breakfast for the money. Do love the Promenade now too.

I tried going to Ocean One during my Vegas trip earlier this year. They were out of almost everything on their menu. Only had six items left, mostly appetizer stuff.
I agree the best happy hours in Las Vegas is at the Miracle Mile Shoppes in Planet Hollywood (Blondies, Ocean One, and Ketchup). I need to try Sapporo at Towne Square and Downtown Bar on Fremont. Other best happy hours need to consider: Crack Shack (great fried chicken) Brew Dogg Flights
Might have to try blondies I love country potatoes for some reason every restaurant here in long beach CA doesn't seems to have them or makes them plain.the drinks there looked stiff too.
