I've realised that I didn't mention the performance or the range. It is:
Max speed: 18 knots
Cruising speed: up to 14 knots
Range at 10 knots: 2,500 miles
That's unbelievable excellent mileage for 11000 litres capacity
Its ok Nick, you have now. Its rare for you to miss anything. So know its not intended. Walkthrough masters even forget now and then.
i have seen manny of your videos , but i think you film details to fast. slow a little down .looks like you are in a hurry all the time. this last boat were great. perhapes a little to mutch dark wood in the cabins.
@@kurtovesen2975 He is pressed for time since whomever gives him permission to tour (whether that be a brokerage firm, or manufacturer) their yachts do not give him unlimited time to do so.
He has mentioned this many times before in previous videos after commenters whined about it................

Someone managed to pack this much into an 87' flybridge cruiser back in 2004, and this layout hasn't been adopted all over the world yet? This thing pampers the guests and the crew in a way you don't usually see without another 20-30 feet added on.
I don't know what drives valuation and marketability but this seems like an incredible deal for the money. I keep wondering what about it hurts its sale-ability.
SavnetSinn: The Sunseeker 95 from last year has a similar design for the master cabin. Full beam with the en-suite beneath the sleeping area. Nick reviewed it last year (Apr 2019)
Joe User: For a sixteen year old boat I think the Johnson has held its value quite well. Engine wear decreases value, modern nav aids, zero speed stabilizers, up-to-date AV equipment will increase the value.

A bar on every deck, a wine chiller in the huge master cabin and a great VIP room. Nice boat. I'd take one.
The family that commissioned this yacht are people I can admire for their taste and for their consideration of their crew...and for the state of the mechanicals 16 years after launch. They specced a fine boat to carry the Johnson name and its best level of work. Okay Punters, don't let your mistress see this one...or meet the man who has his funds just a 'code' away! The wine fridge in the master stateroom speaks to that point.
Totally agree with you. The attention to detail, the two master cabins, the layout and especially they crew accommodations are impressive. Who designed this/had this commissioned was equally interested in guest as well as crew well being.
Most modern boats of that size have cramped crew cabins with minimal wood/atmosphere behind the engines.

Hard to believe this is a 16-year old boat - it's immaculate and still feels modern. Loved the master cabin - the wrap-around windows and sunken en-suite are amazing; this approach to having the master cabin on the main deck where the owner can enjoy the best view doesn't seem common but I hope we see it more often! Thanx for sharing!
I love the owner cabin with this great view and the lower bath section. And the boat seams to be very looked after. It looks like new.

I've just put a new label on my piggy bank which reads "2004 Johnson 87 Fund". You have raised the bar for my ceramic savings container - I am grateful. I must close out for now so as to leave room for others (I could go on for paragraphs). No matter the age, class never has a "sell by" date (been telling my mates that for years). That really is an impressive layout. One of the best uses of available space I've seen in a long time. That crew area is just so generous for a boat this size and to have a crew mess as well is very unusual. The only sign this is a 16yo boat is the amount of woodwork. More recent boats tend to break it up with a mix of surfaces (not saying that's a bad thing). Just a great boat.
Now, that's classy! The master cabin layout is amazing. This boat shows how taste never goes out of style..
2004 but it screams 1980's to me. The wood inlays on the cabinets in the master cabin, the pillars in the lounge and the fabric colours for the fly bridge seats, which is great because I love that decade. I was sold until I checked the euromillions ticket, maybe next week.
That wood work is stunning,so much better than modern boats.

If I could get a yacht, just 1 yacht, I would get this one. It's just perfect, not too big, specious and roomy for it's size, it's beautiful and versatile vessel.
There wasn't too much footage of this model up untill very recently and it's been my dream yacht for years. Glad there's some more footage of it now!

I most appreciate the walkthrough nature of your videos because it allows you to see the transitions from each area instead of one short shot of it. I also love the touches of your personality too, you become more familiar and trustworthy the more I watch
I really enjoy some of these 90s/00s boats, they have a real sense of charm and character that can only come from years of actual use. As beautiful as the new boats are they’re often very sterile in comparison 👍🏻
I do like re-watching these during pandemic lockdown.

I know that more modern boats aren't into high gloss wood interiors, but I like the classic yacht look of them. Very classy.
Thats a lot of boat for the money. I really love how the crew quarters are at least resembling the finish of the main decks....theres nothing worse than seeing a luxe boat with a crew quarters that resemble a siberian prison....Afterall, a happy crew surely translates to a happy owner experience!?
I could easily see myself using that crew mess area table as a totally hidden escape room...
Also the soundproofing on that engine room door is amazing, at least on camera audio

Out of all the tours you've done recently, this seems like it is the best value. Lots of room, smart use of space, and moderate size overall.
Love the round-ish designs of the 2000’s. Wish we saw more of it these days rather than just sharp and straight angles.
That master suite layout is sublime.
I really like the bathroom below the master cabin. Makes it more cozy.

Can't believe this is "only" 87 ft. I believe the main focus was VOLUME, rather than length. That's what gives this a 150+ft superyacht vibe
One of the rare perfectly designed Master Suit, with bed facing the ocean (this is the view you deserve) and great facilities.
Guests area and Crew area are also on a higher-level, and I deeply appreciate the attention for everyone on-board.
This is a great used yacht, in great status with an incredible design.

Wow! I like the mix of contemporary and traditional styles with the dark wood, that isn’t overwhelming. The cabins are amazing for a yacht this size, especially that master. Even the crew is very well taken care of. This is a fantastic design and layout. Very impressed with this one. As always a fantastic Aquaholic tour.
I watch your videos for "that one unique thing". In this case, it's the master bathroom. I've never seen a double sink divided by the shower.
My initial reaction was two million for an 87 foot yacht that is 16 years old? Must be some yacht. I was right. Quite a "wow" factor. Seems more impressive than many 100 foot yachts I have seen.

Love the live music in the background, made me feel like I was back at our usual St Pete Beach, FL hotel or back on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship on the pool deck.

I’m not really into the art of the wood every were but this is fantastic, when you see a very old boat with traditional wood it’s great but for some reason i really like this boat there is something about it that makes me smile 👍

A lot of boat for your money, Love the Bathroom in the mater cabin with built in fridge, Also the top deck well laid out for night time parties. You can see the boat is getting a bit old due to the finish and not as many Mod cons as a new one, love to see a new updated version of this boat as i think it would be a winner

Great tour Nick. The crew quarters would make a nice living arrangement for someone half my age and weight. One of the nicer ones you've presented. Bad knees would keep me away from the master cabin. Overall, this is.one of my favorite layouts along with a Nordham 60.

Very nice boat still in great condition even though it's coming up to 20 years old. Really like the layout too and wish this video was a bit longer to show it off even more.
