I've got the Gel Nimbus 25 and the Invincible 2. Personally and for my foot type I'll be sticking with the Asics Gel Nimbus 25. I have to agree with your assessment of the Gel Nimbus 25 outlasting the Nike Invincible. My Gel Nimbus 25 is holding up allot better than the Invincible 2 did for me. So imo Asics Gel Nimbus 25 is the shoe for me.
Got both as well but i havent wore my gel nimbus 25 yet. The invincible run 3 the upper gets softer and more flexible over time. The heel slippage gets reduced over time as well. It gets more comfortable over time. I didnt wear my gel nimbus yet because i got a full white colourway but its out of the box comfort is surreal.
Great review. I found the Invincible V1 unstable and the forefoot did not have enough cushion for me.... Like it was all in the back of the shoe. Is there more midsole in the forefoot in the V3?
The forefoot is a bit wider, the stack is higher so I think there is a little more foam in the forefoot...but it will be marginal. I am going to do some physical measurements for next weeks video
Which for walking all day being on feet but not running i like the most cushion Nd softest pillowy, but also not exactly regular shoe feel. Maybe a rocking feel etc. Which feels more alive while just walking
Nimbus is better for lifestyle since it’s more stable and the invincible is too unstable to walk around all day and be tired, u have to have mad strong ankles just to handle the invisible 3 as a lifestyle shoe
Haven't got the new versions as yet but have the previous versions I found the nimbus was a bit like a Sunday afternoon it's a but grey and dull outside, your watching murder she wrote on the Tele with a Rich tea. Or watching Terry Griffiths playing cliff thorburn in a snooker match . But the invincible was like watching Liverpool play a champions League game full of fun exciting unpredictable. Or watching Jimmy white Vs Alex Higgins in their hey day. ....by the way did you know you have two watches on😁
Ha! I have done all those things...and enjoyed them...very apt decriptions! If I could I would wear three watches...loosely put The Apple Watch is for socialising and the Garmin for running, but as everything I, do not quite that simple,,,
I tried to buy a pair at Christmas...but I could not get them in my size...I just checked now and they are still sold out. The shoe intrigues me for the same reason but my guess is I will have to wait until the next version...
Couldn't resist and bought (widely available in the US). I'm also US13M but heard it ran long and got US12.5 and use a thinner RCElite2 insole w/thin socks. 9.63oz as worn, among my lightest shoes. Finding it great for 9min/mile pace, very stable, no leg/foot issues; absorbs shock wonderfully, don't feel stressed or beat-up afterwards. Suggest bending in hands first to address initial stiffness. Pavement only, as picks up gravel and has no lugs; pricey but I'm happy with the purchase.

Yes. There is a small amount under the heel… I think there may have been more in earlier versions…

How about testing the ASICS Superblast? I'm very interested in this shoe for both easy day & marathon

Have you tried the Skechers Max Road 5's?
No. Skechers don’t sell many of their best running shoes here in store or online, which is a shame as there are a few I wanted to try.
