I love hearing these stories. Its so cool to hear stories and details about your favorites artists from your favorite artists. It just makes me love them more.
Just listening to these stories takes me back to my teenage years when all these albums were dropping, going and buying The Xorcist and Season Of The Sicness and the Black Market comp and 24 Deep, hittin Tower records like every weekend lookin for the new CD that dropped and just driving around for HOURS and HOURS just listening over and over and over and over again! SO MANY memories from every single one of these albums! I remember the day that Unforgiven came out, waiting and waiting for new X to drop and it FINALLY came out, bought that CD at Tower records, put it in and let it play, got to Spittin Venom and got pulled over by a motorcycle cop and got a $250 noise ordinance ticket for the subs just SLAPPIN 😂 First of a couple of them noise ordinance tickets lol. All these albums tie back to such specific memories and every time I put one on it’s like every song will remind me of a moment in my life, good or bad, but it all ties back to some shit, and music just don’t do that as much now in my older years like I did when I was young and X was a HUGE part of that! Good to see you out here shining all these years later X! Love what you got going now, stronger than ever! ^S^
I'm outside sac and in the late 90s it was all about Xraided and Brotha Lynch and even Mr. Doctor but after Vengence is mine and songs like " hold on" we thought X was the best of all time, just unfortunately locked up. He's going hard af on the strange music shit too
Lynch was gonna take someone that goes by CouRage to Japan with him.CouRage (Chris) decided not to go,I knew Chris, we smoked together often for awhile, would throw on beats and freestyle every once in awhile.Chris drops an undergroundvC.D. just before and I was at the studio for some of the tracks.Tried to get a copy when it was done, kept giving excuses. Finally got one from his X.Why my lyrics on his C.D.? Chris was a trip, had to let him know this isnt Colorado, went down Broadway while I was talking to him, hit a right on M.L.K., a left on 8th ave and said this is Oak Park, you ever heard of it? Dude dropped almost to the floor board.Wouldnt sit up.I rolled through to Stockton and took him home, figured if thats CouRage, then I must have been doing it all wrong🤔That was probably 1999.Couldnt imagine what he woulda done if I drove him through Meadowview at 10pm in 1989.😀Lynch is the business, I was bumping him everywhere.I know for a fact Chris wasnt telling Lynch he was spitting anyone elses lyrics. Chris was smart to not get on that plane though, I couldnt let him come up on a single bar of mine in this city through Lynch or anyone else. Not the way he did it.He wouldnt have got the pass I gave him, I think he came to that realization when they were on the way to the plane but he never said why he didnt go.All things happen for a reason. Now he does some type of charity work for teens or something.Lynch is still the business, and I got a good laugh outta that drive.Chris is an alright guy just didnt really know me the way he thought he did, and couldnt relate to the way things work with those of us that grew up in the thick of it or how we react.10 years earlier I woulda dropped his body off in front of his studio
I like both but like Lynch more and will love to see them do a Verzuz battle that will be sick I doubt it will do crazy numbers but it will just dope for us fans and for Sacramento
X- Raided, If see this I want to ask you about some of your lyrics and hope to get an understanding. And this is in regards to Young Meek and Mr. Doctor. In "whose is yall" and "Trail By Fury": "Yo Meek attempt to diss me was futile boy/I knew you back when you was broke wearin' Bugle Boys" And "in 95' you was setripin blockstyle, But I heard you be kickin' it with cops now " lmao. I've been wanting to know FOR YEARS what that was all about. Either way, I stopped listening to them because of those lyrics. lol.
Tell me why if duece 5 to life was the first song you wrote x, when you came to San diego and I yelled perform duece 5 you said nah they don't wanna hear that. But the crowd went crazy when I yelled that shit. I'm saying I know you been on a journey but your day one fans still out here thirsty for that shit that got us hooked in the first place you feel me. The first record I wrote he said...
He never PC up. Get your facts straight. Alot of people said that but there's no evidence. 100% idk but I think if that were the case he wouldn't be able to move the way he does. He explains what happened in phone game. Again who knows what really happen but no paper work I'm backing my favorite artist. Stop hatin!
