It's overall a good guide but I don't recommend going to the second floor with mimicry marcuses without getting grenade launcher. It is just not necessary for a mixed herb which you lose it anyway since you get attacked by mimicry marcuses. Just do the animal puzzle room place first, get the grenade launcher and then go there. So you can kill those mimicry marcuses without getting hit much. Another thing you can knife zombies that stay on the ground waiting for you to step to save some handgun ammo. It's not necessary since I had so much ammo left at the end. You can use other handguns on roaches that are on 3F Training Facility room that is big. They can't reach you so just empty those handguns on them without having to worry. You can also use these handguns on zombies that stay on the ground as well (the ones that are hard knife without getting grabbed).
Excellent walkthrough. Definitely wait to do the water corridor last with the grenade launcher. Youll likely have enough ammo. If you dont, you should have 3 spare magnum rounds. Make em count. Definitely use the extra pistols, and remember to grab all three lol, on the bugs up top. They take the most ammo, so its a waste to use em on bugs you can also theoretically knife if you get within a milimeter of their range. The zombies on the floor hallway before the hunter room (where the black angel normally is in game) can and should just be knifed. Piano room too, since youll go there last with the above change. Other than that, amazing run. You can also knife birds, but like, just put the bullets in em.
I don't even waste ammo. on the monkeys. I make a kamikaze run through the rooms first thing off the bat and grab the magnum, ammo, and any leeches. I usually need a health spray after, but it's worth it.
on normal it seems there's the same amount of enemies but they die pretty quick and instead of the magnum i got a machine pistol which i guess balances it out

Yeah that can work as well too
If you see 1 blue herb and 1 green herb at the start, it means you'll recieve magnum. If you see 2 green herbs, you get submachine gun instead.
got all the way to the 30 round Grenade launcher and it despawned so hours of my life gone
