  • Meet Clarke Reynolds, a Portsmouth-based artist redefining art with braille.
Following the loss of his sight, @clarkereynoldsofficial begun channelling his energy into creating vibrant, tactile pieces that blend colour, texture, and Braille. His art is designed to be experienced by both sighted and visually impaired audiences, giving Braille new life with colour, meaning, and brightness.
Braille, invented by Louis Braille at just 15, has transformed accessibility for the blind. As we celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2024, Clarke’s work is a powerful reminder that even when we lose sight, we never lose the ability to imagine.
Lets celebrate Clarke’s inspiring journey and the legacy of Braille-bridging communities, inspiring young artists, and making art accessible to all.
