2011 Cadillac SRX Power Steering Pump Replacement 2.8L Turbo Engine & Which Pump To Buy

Our Cadillac SRX started leaking power steering fluid, after many hours of searching for the "CORRECT" pump, we took a chance and ordered one for a 3.0L engine, perfect fit, with some extra steps involved.

Well done. Even through the screen I could see that was an uphill battle. My dad was an engineer, I could hear him in my head as I watched. When he encountered things like this he'd say, "You know, I'd like to find the engineer who signed off on this. I'd get this part red hot, and lay it in his lap". Thanks for the education ~ Chuck

Thank you Chuck, my wife is much happier now!
I think this job is much easier with the car up on a hoist, and if a guy just undid the outer tie rod, it would make it easier to reach that upper bolt.
