Another incredible theory video. I realized today the strength d1+2 and 1+2, it's funny to see this confirmation an hour later. Regarding the ki charge, I personally like to use it when the opponent is in the corners. I think it's a good alternative to db1+2. In just 3 weeks I was able to reach the rank of fujin, thanks to your videos it helped me a lot !
thx, great video... very helpful. It's always interresting to hear articulated what you should think about while pressing buttons... hardstuck in blue ranks, but slowly making progress (i think)
Awesome vid. I wonder how feasible is ws 1+2 as an approach option for ki charge. Since there’s that possible CH and if not, could cancel and get in range while in crouch. Either way, eager to try this out on my end!
ws1+2 as an approach tool has always made me nervous, because the move is so slow and the recovery into fc takes a pretty long time. especially problematic for ki charge, i think, since theres so many frames for you to get mashed out of before youre actionable. its likely i dont give it as much credit as i should, tho, it has a LOT more forward movement than f+2~d does, i would be very interested to hear about your field tests obv
getting low parried is still a much smaller price to pay for a 35dmg low, tbf, compared to a full launch punish. you cant fuzzy the destab options, so the other player does still have to make a straight guess, too (and probably get hit by the mid for their trouble)
i was curious and tested this, b+1+4 would be a really unorthodox play against power crush on a read, but you could hilariously hitconfirm it into b+1+4,4 for like 50 damage. this only works when youre 0 or plus on block/hit, obviously thats fine for wall push. you wouldn't have time to step, if you want the low to interrupt the pc armor. you would just risk getting low parried, most likely, bc b+1+4 is seeable, although you wont see that much online bc people dont use b+1+4 much. a really interesting idea, ill have to keep it in mind 🤔
@@alcratz I use b 1+4 all the time to beat out power crushers. It is very rare to see it get low parried, even among the Tekken King-God players I've run into. Really unlikely they'd be ready to parry it when they're mental stacked with the while running mix. You can often abuse it pretty hard until your opponent proves they can parry it. B1+4 into b4 can absolutely rob people, and is damn near a win button for low level players. Also, consciously trying to do the wall push strat today gave me some absolutely disgusting wins.
its technically seeable with a lot of practice if you look out for it really closely, because the windup for it is really snappy w/ asuka cocking her fist back before punching the ground. its another story entirely to react to it in a match, when you're also trying to make predictions and react to other things at the same time, which is why i say its unlikely. you still see the best players in the world getting hit by d+1+2. you might just be playing predictably
Babe, new Asuka tech guide just dropped!

Destab 4 is WAY too risky, it's very easy to low parry.
Truth I usually use the 2 option a bit more often.

To beat out power crush during wall push, could you stuff it it with b1+4? Maybe you could get a step in first

Is d1+2 seeable or no? Coz I've versed a few people blocking on reaction

@@alcratz yeah I've found that d1+2 from crouch helps a whole lot in masking the animation.
