I just got the Ninja Creami Deluxe and the first thing I made was the Vanilla Ice Cream just like the recipe book said too. It left a very greasy film all inside the roof of my mouth. Good flavor but bad texture. Any idea why this happened? Did the exact same thing when I made the chocolate version in the book.

Does this recipe require respin cycle after refreezing?
Yes, all creami recipes typically have to be spun again after refreezing. It’s not like regular ice cream.

It’s probably the fat from the cream cheese and heavy cream, I don’t think you did anything wrong.

Yes, multiply the recipe by 1.5 for Deluxe pints.

freeze 24 hours then you put a tub of liquid in the machine? Am i missing something?
It’s frozen. You freeze the pint before processing it. You put the frozen pint into the machine.
Dont get what the cream cheese is for - maybe just use some xanthan gum.
It’s for a creamy mouthfeel.
