  • Soon i gone start a 5th axis trunnion build, which i want to fully record for UA-cam. This is a test record to see how clear image can be when you record while using flood coolant. Seems that after a while the image start to be unclear. Right now i used a air blow to clean the lens while filming.

To give you a tip: Some people use IPAD screen protectors since they are oil/water resistant. Maybe try that over the lens.

B&B Manufacturing has models for these pulleys if you want to roll your own. Peter at Edge Precision (on here) built and documented a really effective case/air nozzle for his GoPro. That's all I can contribute, thank you for sharing your work.

Maybe you should look into getting a Crace 2 gopro case made by Hirudin (on youtube) or make something like it yourself, that case realy seems to work well with coolant :)

I need to do some more testing. I didn't really check the camera when finishing recording. Maybe the fuzzy came from the inside out since the camera gets a little warm any mosture thats inside the case will vapor and makes the lens fuzzy. Or from some reason the coolant will stuck more on the outside after a while because the airblast only clears the water inside the coolant mixture.

Nice job Stefan!!! Instead of air blowing you get this image?

I used an airblow to aquire this image. It worked quite nice the first 2 minutes or so. As you can see.

@@AsitShouldBe Yes i did some 4th axis indexing milling work few weeks ago. I liked it so much that now i gone build a 5th axis. Since the 4th axis i was using wasn't that great.

Awesome! Any chance you could include where you bought the harmonic drives and servos? I'm always curious as to which suppliers are good. Thanks!
