My daughter is only 16 and LOVES Tejano... I grew up on this music, of course being from the valley, I moved Dallas and this is what my husband and I play at home. She is a tejana through and through. El primo Sergio turned me onto your channel and I can't stop watching. #Gmultimedia #PPPVT
I’m happy to say I’ve passed on the music and culture to my s-son, nieces and nephew. And also my young daughters. The same way it was passed down to me. Tejano culture needs to live on and be passed down generation to generation. 💪🏼🔥
Ive been watching this interview for the past couple of days and what an interview it was. Great stuff, I had the privilege to have met and shared different venues with these guys back in the late 90's when I was touring with Gary Hobbs, this video brought back some awesome memories. Saludos a la Familia Gonzalez and #PVT. Tejano will never die! #jimmygforever
Anything that man put on on a cd was gold and I'm only a 21 year old kid but jimmy g will forever be one of my favorite artists love this mans music and what he's done for our music keep tejano alive and always support it
Tejano music is in my blood and all through my life. I’m 26 years old and till this day I jam out to my favorites. And one of my top two favorites is your dads music Mike. I’m from Brownsville and I enjoyed all these episodes. God bless to you all and the whole Gonzales Familia!! ✌🏻🤘🏻✌🏻🤘🏻
Mr. Rock I’m new to your station I’m out of SA (Alamo City) I’m impress with your show keep it up! We need more of this original talks good conversations!
The culture is the biggest thing, looking back I remember being in middle school and like listening to the music that was in, as I started going through high school I slowly started realizing what was around me, la coltura, my dad is from Mexico and like I started digging more of Ramon Ayala, los relampagos, los traileros and then look at my mom side of the family and take abit of there culture which was more west side of San Antonio Chicano and it really helps not only as a person but as a musician, Sometimes I hit up some bars in town with a buddy of mine and we would play country and then on my “solo” I’d throw in some Freddy fender or Roberto pulido (I’m gonna try to throw in that disco Mazz song as well) and you know what carnal, the people love that stuff because like you said it reminds them of their parents or their tios or even just the good ol days and when you get a crowd going like that, there’s no better feeling
so true james music reminds me of my abuelitos and some of family that passed music leaves a lasting memory in our heart. glad I found you hi from phoenix Az
Los respeto más porque habla español y el tejano music español dos culturas Sabiendo de dónde vienen nuestras raíces la cultura la tradición nuestra música

Nice videos Rock, as they come out, can't wait for the next one. you really keep the suspense like a novela. It would be awesome if you could get Joe Lopez to do an interview and get his point of view. There's always 2 sides to the story. Do you think that's a possibility?

I dare anyone to count how many times the word “bro” & “you know what I mean” were said... lol
Texano music is disappearing because of the new generation of Mexican Americans. Not listening to Texano music.
