For suspension another option is Koni SA. The Model 3 Highland version uses the SA technology in the suspension. I have the Koni SA on my Porsche Boxster and its excellent.
White looks good with the white body/silver trim. I got a 2022 model 3 (grey) with the black trim, and I ordered some black wheel covers. Should look good.
Nicely done video. Keep it up the good work. The black wheel caps look more cool, whereas the white ones, in my view, don't look quite as classy. I'm an ex-petrolhead but enjoying the same M3 LR. Recently, I replaced the original Michelins for the tyres developed for the new model 3 by Hankook. They are quieter and marginally smoother.
@@DavidWilliams-cs5uf my mate Clive has gone Hankook, EVO's i think theyre called and he said theyre good and also efficiency is better. Perhaps head that way in 15 / 20k miles time. 🤔
Thanks for the video. I’ve done some mods, which you didn’t mention. Simple things like 3D mats! Driving around muddy lanes, it’s a must. How about Enhance Auto with their Commander unit, the S3XY buttons, & the Knob. You have tinted the rear windows. I have a phone mount in front of the steering wheel so can run the S3XY app. PPF to the front of rear wheel arches. I went from the 19” rims to 18” rims, car rides so much better. I have the centre caps, but put the aero covers back on, as they have grown on me. Highland suspension is an upgrade, but then there is the OnAir suspension which takes it to a different level. I have sun blinds for the panoramic roofs which I use all year round. I also got rid of the number plate frames. Awful rattly things! I have also removed the Dual Motor badge. I’m not a fan of white wheels.
@@MikeProcter1 yes got the tints done, also Mountain pass performance Spherical bearings, forgot to mention those. I looked into Sexy buttons, seems like a great mod. How are you getting on with them?
Acceleration Boost, definitely. Spacers, don't do it, my Model 3 had them fitted when I bought it, it ruined the handling and steering, much better without.
The branding labels on the black covers just make it look like you have space saver spares all round. Definitely the white looks better, unless you can remove the labelling on the black covers.
The best mod IMHO is the OEM suspension from the 2024 highland. The car doesnt need to be stiffer on the road. Spacers are good, along with the brakes and splitter. These wheel covers are pretty terrible. The performance style covers look alot better. Big no for me to the wheel covers and fake broom-broom sounds. Unfortunately the Highland seats produce on screen safety errors on pre-2024 model 3s.
@chargeheadsuk I've got 2021 SR with highland suspension. Sooo much smoother, great for UK roads. The LR will be decent and easy (although ride height goes up a smidge), but P is different because the highland has adjustable suspension. I would like the highland seats, unplugged have a video on it showing errors.
Prefer black caps. The white ones are the wrong shade of white. If the white were the same white i would say white. I want the black for my black m3 but i have a wife! Lol
