Proposed upgrades to St. Louis Lambert International Airport

There could be some big upgrades to St. Louis Lambert International Airport, and a new study shows that could bring more money to the region.

The D Concourse is still a giant hallway that isn't being used by the public. It would be nice to find a way to expand it, and connect T1 and T2 together. That said, I hope they keep the main atrium in T1. That still looks cool, and is a distinct feature for Lambert.

Pepe remembers that the third runway that displaced thousands of Carrollton families was going to lead to huge growth, were they wrong then, too? Well, yes, yes they were.
Also, It it imperative for them to create concentrated chaos when the convenient East terminal is just that, convenient. Two terminals split the loading and unloading traffic in two, like by airline.

So, the next eight years will be a mess of rerouting, torn up roads and detours, building construction noise and mess......

Lambert Airport is old and a joke. Glad I don't live there anymore. City and County need to work together on such projects to work.

It needs it. It is an eyesore, not well designed, etc. Its a dump...It was designed for a time that no longer exists. I mean they have whoel concourses liek B that are dead.

The airport will never be world class as long as it’s part of the City. Give oversight to the County and it’s got a chance.
