This is the city i have dreams about at night. I decided to check out Bellevue when I was visiting Seattle and I can't get this city out of my mind. It feels like a city you would see in a Sci FI show like Star trek minus the cool star trek technology. It's so modern, clean and quiet. It's a very very very different place.
Im from San Diego and its so refreshing to see gloomy weather plus the beautifully colored leaves in fall. We don't see that much in southern California. Bellevue is beautiful city with some cool people. Id move in a heartbeat

As someone born and raised in South Seattle, Bellevue has always been one of those places that's so nice that it's almost a little *too* nice ya know? Like you start to feel out of place around all these people with so much money. Every single one, (if they can afford to live in bellevue) is rich. Since it's so new too, it lacks that character that make South Seattle feel rich and unique, even if it is a little poorer.
Seattle and the Puget Sound area are nice for a visit but not to live there. Not anymore. If you wanna live in the City of Seattle or Bellevue you better be making six figures in the mid range at least!!!
Thanks for posting! Bellevue is a place I would love to live. I was there in February 2015 and stayed near 112th Ave and 2nd St. I tell everyone how perfect this place is but they don't believe me. Bellevue > Central Florida.
I grew up here. Definitely a nice place, but it’s expanding so fast, and cost of living is skyrocketing (as in many other places). I’ve lived outside of Washington State for about 15 years now, and last time I visited the Seattle area I almost didn’t recognize it...
You can thank those slimmy tyrants like that scamazon chacter for insain living expenses while they steal your $$$$$$ and laugh behind your back......pretty Kool huh😡
I feel like Downtown Orlando should follow or mimic what downtown Bellevue did it's really amazing. Escpically near the Amway center area this would be big for Downtown Orlando.
Yes, probably you're right in some cases but I think most of them techies(ALL techies in Bellevue) are tend to find interesting themselves within internet and household activities which is kinda bad in my view but AGAIN Bellevue is The Best Edge City in USA. Very structured, safe, clean and pleasant. Time and over the city will establish new and entertaining places is what I strongly believe.
@Chris Christian Come to Chattanooga and take a drive through Orchard Knob, Avondale and East Lake and Seattle will seem like paradise. Not once in Seattle did I see houses that had more fortifications than minor army installations.
@Nombre Hmm, I would say over the years, Bellevue has grown a lot to basically become its own city. I live in Bellevue, and always have, and we've seen a lot of growth in the past year. Where that skybridge was, there's a new mall right around the corner. Also, there's been a recent "boom" of people moving here. So I would say Bellevue is basically its own city. Also, Seattle is across Lake Washington from here, and that's about a 10 mile drive.
Don't isolate yourself. There are people who have been through what you might be facing right now and they overcame it. Don't push people away, surround yourself with people who are spiritually mature and get the help that you need. Isolation when you are in pain and don't know if there's a way out is dangerous and that's why we have suicide cases. Listen, there's nothing that you can be facing that God is not able to solve for with God nothing is impossible. Hold on. Jesus loves you.

Well the city only has about 145,000 people living there as 2018. Downtown used to be all office buildings, but now they are starting to bulid high rise residential all of the place. Maybe in 10 or 20 years it will be more vibrant.

This is one of my personal top 10 best cities to live in.
