Yes, do more for this series.
One of my essential tools is (kind of silly to even mention this as its so obviously already in most art kits) a mechanical pencil. No need to worry about sharpening.
Another tool I use a lot is a Square ruler. I have a set of square rulers that I bought for sewing, but ended up using them for paper crafting, drawing, notebooking, and so many other purposes.

I’ve used quilting rulers(square and rectangular) since I started cardmaking 10 years ago. Couldn’t afford a die cutting machine or good paper trimmer and the rulers work great.🧓🏻🇺🇸👋

Oh, what fun!! Thanks for the introductions to this interesting tool. One is in my cart!! My very senior husband is now physically handicapped, so I'm always looking for ideas to unleash his creativity. He loves coloring (also great mental and small muscle therapy), and I think he would really enjoy this tool. Thanks so much. Keep the ideas coming!! Pause. OK, I think we each need one of these circle makers!!

    I love that tool! 🤩
Do you know Nailart sets? In these sets you usually find little brushes and other tools.
I use these tools for my art.
    1) The brushes are really tiny and perfect for blending details with liquids.
2)The tool for cuticles I use as a denting tool. Example: give a leaf a base colour and use the cuticle tool for denting the details in your leaf. If you use a second colour, the dented part will always stay in the base colour.
    3) Sandpaper. I use sandpaper to make my own graphite powder. I putt the powder in a little jar.
I also use sandpaper to clean my eraser(pencil). To prevent all the sharpening.
    4) desk vacuum cleaner. I really hate to have crumbs from pencils or eraser on my desk because I always smudge (by accident) the crumbs at the wrong place. So that tiny vacuum cleaner cleans that up.
    5) an art glove. A glove that only covers your pinky finger and ring finger. The glove prevents smudging.
I use lots stuff for my art 😅

I do have a couple of favorite tools too. One being a rectangular quilting ruler - even though I'm not a quilter. It has multiple angles marked on its surface, so I use it for mitering the corners on book covers and cutting pretty much anything at an angle. They are great, and inexpensive. Bonus: If you have a large stamp, the quilting ruler can make a good stamp block.

This looks like a really useful tool and it's a little more expensive in the UK but not by much so it's going on my list. Thank you for the really clear demo and the tips on how to use it. Yes, it does! Just had an estate sale and let all the games go along with a ton of patterns from the 60s on and about 100 lbs of used denim and varoius remnants AND some of the garments I had kept that I thought were extra special with the pattern I used tucked in with it. I let my masterpieces go and it was hard! A neighbor stopped by the sale and said there was noisy activity coming from the sewing room so apparently my things were appreciated. That helped ease the pain a little.
Felt good to purge, really. The estate sale was the perfect way to get those interested specifically in what we had to offer. We had donated so much that we were down to the stuff that would have really hurt to stick in a bag for goodwill. The estate sale ladies knew what they were doing. They knew what would sell and what wouldn't. We basically took what we wanted and just left the rest for them to deal with. Their fee came from the proceeds. The ladies also appreciated how hard it was to let some stuff go and were gentle and reassuring. One hears 'estate sale' and images of manor houses come to mind. We were simply downsizing.
