Oknife,PLEASE make a 14C28N or 154 CM version, stonewashed satin blade, keep the pocket clip black(mat finish-low profile),4 inch blade(3.75 inch cutting edge with a decent finger choil on the blade before you get to The Ricasso).I would be happy to pay an extra $25-30 for those changes!!!
Definitely would’ve much preferred to see 14C over D2 but for the price I guess can’t complain too much. I love compound grinds and it’s an interesting and unique looking design. although not for me I think it’s pretty cool especially for the price point.
@@stanwilson7040 the only similarity is that they’re both a Wharncliffe. The Spyderco has a thumb depression on the spine of the blade and another in the spine of the handle. The Heron has neither. The Spyderco also tapers down slimmer at the rear of the handle, this does the exact opposite. The spuderco has the large forward finger choil and two smaller ones towards the rear, this has none at the rear. They’re as similar as a Ram truck and an F150.
@@JimSkeltonKnives The reason the knife pivot is silver with blue trim is because it's supposed to look like the bezel and lens of OLight's signature all black flashlights. If you look up a OLight flashlight in all black most If not all have a blue bezel trim. The knife pivot is a flashlight lens image. God bless Jim Skelton.
Thanks for comparing to the Grant Gripper. That was my immediate thought. And the EmpEdc Nymble W. And it’s fully different. But ohhh that Hellfire.. yep.sign me up
Olight seems to be doing things right with their budget knife selection. This will be a very popular model. I’d like to see a satin 14c28n variant. It’s wierd seeing budget models on your channel. I had to do a double take. Your best tech model is very cool.
JS10 for a discount 👍 inset liners is always nice imo . I ve always liked this shape since using a few Dirk Pinkertons designs . Nice and light and sturdy is always a desireable trait I look for in edc knives .
People who subscribe to the 1 ounce per inch rule, are extremely pretentious and foolish. I always tell people to carry what is comfortable to them and it’s a tool, so use it for what it’s intended for.
Hey.....very good job....
I love the tactical design and i bought it yesterday !
Big Kiss to FRANCE ❤❤❤

I was here! Enjoyed your review Jim thanks and have a good day! KWM
Excellent review Jim. Surprised to see this on here, but really appreciate it.
Reminds me of some of the Todd Knife and Tool designs WE and Bestech have produced. Love a beefy wharncliff.
The knife is blatant plagiarism of the Spyderco Yojimbo 2

Pretty cool. Looks like it pairs well with a Glock. The Hellfire looks awesome too.
