Hi Tim. Absolutely stunning! All three are fantastic in their own right, but the first image stands out just a bit more. Look forward to your next video. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
I love all three but I think #1 is my favorite. Thank you for the video and the history lesson, very enlightening. The mountains in the background with the haze over them really drew me in. I would love to go there sometime and see it in person and have a cup of coffee on that patio. Thanks for the awesome video.
Wow! You really outdid yourself with this clip! It is over the top with mixing the master art of photography as a tourist along with the really interesting history scenario sprinkled in for good measure! Absolutely an outstanding work of art. All three images at the end are magnificent!
Tim, your photographic information is beyond anything I have ever reviewed. I will keep watching your videos and try to get myself updated on your landscape shots. Your shots are truly amazing. I am a Nikon D850 user and it is an amazing camera. It has too many gadgets and I tried to learn them overnight. I am 25-year retired military guys with lots of travel under my belt and owner of several cameras but none like the D850. I will keep reading your books and looking at your videos and hope to gain as much as half of the knowledge you have. Thanks very much for doing what you do and keep it up.
Stunnung adventure in this wonderful Dolomites of Italy. Very great amazing video. Thank you Tim Shields.I have learn the way you teach me as photographer.
Loved all of them Tim but I think I like no 2 is marginally the best. It is different but has the reflections that make it somewhat surreal and the contrasting red colour to make the boats pop. I would happily have that hang on my wall!!
Tim, thanks for the video, it was like we were on the trip with you. Amazing. I also enjoyed the history lesson. I like all three photos, but my favorite is #1.
Buongiornooo! :-) Italians love coffee and are known for their "espresso" ;-) Greetings from Switzerland (near Italy) I loved your video, the historic telling and your pics!
I love each shot for different reasons. Thanks for this VLOG, Tim! I'm leaving from Australia for Lago di Braies and Seceda in a couple of days. You've given me some great food for thought.
So glad to hear this. You will love it up there. I would imagine Seceda will be quite cold now because of the high elevation. My drone is a DJI Mavic Pro. It is about two years old and it is not the latest model but it shoots 4k. Good drone footage is all about smooth movements on the controls. Did you watch my Seceda video? Try to stay at Fermeda Hut if you can. You will be glad you did.
@@TimShieldsPhotography Hi Tim, thanks so much for getting back to me and for all of the information. I watched the Seceda video - fantastic too. Was slightly horrified to find that we could stay on the mountain as we booked accommodation at Ortisei. Oh well, will make the best of it! Thanks for the tip regarding temperature. Noted!
I love this video! Thanks for the on-the-spot history lesson; so amazing that you were on that same patio... and I’d love to taste the Italian coffee. I think I like #2 best, but in a few minutes I might prefer #1.
First, thanks for the video. They are all very nice in there own right, so I think each one can be used for different reasons, but I am sure #1 will be the favorite, when all the comments are tallied
hello tim, I've been following you for a couple of years, and your works are fantastic! I live in Bolzano very nice town near Braies. If you come back, I could point you to other beautiful places like this, hidden from tourism. Photo#1
Hi there! So about your photos. I like best no. 1 because FOR ME(!) it tells all about the spot! If you are asking me about the 2nd best then it is photo no. 3. The 2nd photo... I must admit... I don't like. I personally think that the wood of the boats does look a bit over processed in post processing... however, what I dislike most is following, and I have been at Largo de Braies one year ago too. Depending of the angle, the boats normally seem to "fly" or stand in the air. Why that, simply because the water of the lake is so amazingly clear, that with the right angle to take the photo, you don't even realize that there is water. That's why you simply instantly see the ground of the lake! So the distance between the surface of the lake and the ground of the lake gives you the perception as if the boats would be flying. The picture no. 2 unfortunately, doesn't show this at all, which I think is very sad. Please take this is my PRIVATE opinion. Nevertheless, the location is really awesome and I agree with you that finding the right/ best compositon is really tricky. Please no shit storm... this is my personell opinion which may not match with the people reading my lines. :-)
Great comments! I appreciate what you said. You are right. I wasn't able to get that look of the boats floating on air. That would have been super cool. Thank you for writing!
@@TimShieldsPhotography The word is Italian and has therefore be pronounced in the Italian way. I found the following link where you find a correct pronouciation (by an Italian) forvo.com/word/seceda/
All photos are great but the first photo is what I like the most
All awesome... but 2 is my favorite... the boats just make the shot... keep them coming Tim...
I love the 3rd more because of the composition.
I like Photo #1 the best, of all of these great shots.
Amazing place, i vote for picture 1.
That's easy Tim. All 3 of course !!!
It’s #1 for me
Number 1 is the winning!
Thanks for sharing!
Favorite is No 1, great location
Your videos getting better and better good job
Great video! Gorgeous place and beautiful photos. I like #1 best 👍
Thank you Annette!
I think photo number one best offers a great view of this place. Photo with large boats is also beautiful in itself!
Great video Tim.
Numero uno for me - best comp and best light.

Great informative video Tim, Photo #1
Very nice shots Tim. In my opinion, photo #1 has the best composition of the three.
Love the history! (And the lake of course) nice vid 🤙
Fantastic video! Amazing photos! All are stunning in their own ways, but I liked #1 best. Awesome with the cloud or fog on the top :-)
The video was so good,
I liked the 2nd picture.
And thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful video.

Thank you so much Stan. Much appreciated!
all photos were good but I like more the first photo...it gives the viewer the real feel of the scenery... :)
This is breathtaking,,,,! With a “B”
Thanks Harold!

Photo number 1. What a beautiful place.... I had no idea it existed! Thanks for sharing.
One wow after another I like 1, 2 and 3
Photo 2. Absolutely fantastic story, thanks Tim! Love living your life through the lenses! Cheers, Sean

Great video. Thanks for the history. I love to hear about places like this. My vote will be for Photo #1
Tim, thanks for the video, it was like we were on the trip with you. Amazing. I also enjoyed the history lesson. I like all three photos, but my favorite is #1.
Photo number 1 is my favorite
thanks for the history - very interesting and No1 is my favourite
Great videos about Dolomites! My special thanks for telling the story of the hotel.
That hotel was amazing. Fermeda Hutte forever!
What a gorgeous place to visit! Thanks for sharing! :-)
Fantastic video well done Tim loved the history to it as well! The image I love best is no 1
Thanks Wendy!
Tim: All 3 photos are brilliant, but my preference is for photo #1.
Thanks for sharing Tim - brilliant production! I like all 3 photos - who wouldn't? But No 1 stands out to me for the light on the mountain.
Photo 1. Thanks for the interesting story about WW2.
I think that the most beautiful photo is the second one. Of course also the other two are very very good.
Buongiornooo! :-) Italians love coffee and are known for their "espresso" ;-) Greetings from Switzerland (near Italy) I loved your video, the historic telling and your pics!
Very nice pictures and video. #1 on the first place, and #2 as second. Interesting.
Thanks Kurt!
I like the photo 2, because it shows a special cutout. Not like most thousand other photos of Lake Braies.
You've done an amazing job Tim!!
My favourite one is shot no 1, then no 2
Tim asked for one fovourite...you don't get a second pick...OK!!! 😍
I like all three. If I had to choose I would say photo one only because in number three the boats take away from the best image.
I love each shot for different reasons. Thanks for this VLOG, Tim! I'm leaving from Australia for Lago di Braies and Seceda in a couple of days. You've given me some great food for thought.

All great images #2 was a bit different i liked it.
Can I pick 1 and 2? Liked them all!
Wonderful location Tim. I like photo 1 the most.
Thanks Michel
Love photos 1 and 2. Great video thank you. It’s very easy to get rooted in the same place. I took on board your comment about moving.
Thank you Lynne!
#1 is #1 !
Photo #1 is my favorite. Yes, they are all fantastic but in a place so beautiful you have to show why you chose to go half way around the world.
Great video!
All 3 photos are great, but I prefer photo #1 because it stays in context..
I love this video! Thanks for the on-the-spot history lesson; so amazing that you were on that same patio... and I’d love to taste the Italian coffee.
I think I like #2 best, but in a few minutes I might prefer #1.
Thanks Andrea!
Wall space possibility? Imv no. One...great light and tones
Awesome video Tim, great work 👍🙏
Thank you so much Adrian!
epic as always I pic best photo is photo number 2
Hi Tim, can I ask what drone you are using here? The footage is crystal clear!
Photo number 1
Thank you!
Photo 1, your sunrise's better than mine, I was there on Canada Day. Car rental was super expensive!!!
We just missed each other. We were there on June 27th.
First, thanks for the video. They are all very nice in there own right, so I think each one can be used for different reasons, but I am sure #1 will be the favorite, when all the comments are tallied

it seems that Americans definitely cannot correctly pronounce Seceda...
How do you say it correctly?
