people think too much about what it means to be filler. you can come up with all the technicalities you want but at the end of the day filler is literally just non canon material made by studios and not the original authors to fill space in the show and that’s it
As Gintama explained filler: When an anime catches up to a manga that’s still running, it must take a roundabout path to stay within reach of the manga before it can rejoin the manga. This doesn’t occur with My Hero Academia because there are always breaks between seasons. It’s not like Naruto and One Piece which go nonstop with new episodes. My Hero Academia still has filler though like the Froppy episode in season 2 which was made because she was increasingly popular, it also helped her character growth. Then later you got that episode about love because the TV network wanted all of its shows to do an episode on love. In anime and manga there are instances of less serious and more calm transitions between really intense story arcs because it doesn’t do well for the story if it’s just action, drama, high stakes, etc. all the time.
Filler can be canon though, and non-canon material isn't always filler. Filler, by definition, is any part of a narrative that does nothing to add to or reveal things about the story or characters. Whether it is canon or not has absolutely nothing to do with it. Western anime fans have used the word incorrectly so much that the actual meaning is almost completely lost. Similar to what happened to the term "anti-hero" in the 80's and 90's.

There are colleges that Heroes can go to. But, just like in the real world it all depends on the individual. Some heroes get great offers out of high school, some feel more education is needed, some just do their own thing. It's been mentioned before and stated more clearly in the movie and OVA that All Might went to college in America. That's where he got the idea to name different attacks after American states.
This is one of my favorite episodes 100%. It’s so sweet to watch their friendships develop even more! And I love the concept of domesticity bc there’s bound to be chaos as well as more familiarity among each other. The found family trope is king 🙌🏼
6:10 Fun fact: Bakugo forced Denki to overload because after that he would make that stupid face which in turn makes his classmates laugh all of whom were upset a little while back.
How’d you guys miss that, it was obvious. The reason bakugou made denki to use his lightning to become stupid was to cheer everyone up after the depressing conversation with aizawa.
People are saying that's obvious because it is what a regular person would do in that situation. But it is not obvious when it comes to what BAKUGOU usually does.

"Could be considered a filler episode" I don't mean to be rude, but not every episode needs to have drama, risk, and seriousness. I personally always get a little disappointed when after a lot of character development that there isn't just a couple episodes where everything is just a bit calm, to see them living instead of just surviving or holding on.
We don't know about Deku Dad, we're sure it'll be a plot point some time in the future He used Kaminari as a distraction, Bakugo doesn't like looking vulnerable remember? Besides it makes Kyoka happy why so soundproof? >u> Rookie mistake Deku, you had to expect someone to see your room even if it was passing by...he knows to go straight for Tokoyami's sword though, Dark Shadow Samurai When!? We didn't see but I'm guessing that Bakugo's room is just rubble, with some All Might posters Todoroki pulling that Nonchalant Badass card, master builder Sato also has a Tony Stark shirt on Poor Momo, she's so rich and pampered and yet so innocent Tape guy is Sero, I remember it by just saying Sellotape in a Japanese voice XD I don't think there's a hero college, I think they jump into Agencies
Bakugou definitely strikes me as the kind of person who listens to music purely for focus or study. Not too hard or he wouldn't be able to think, and no lyrics so he won't get distracted. Other than that, he wouldn't personally listen to music unless it was just really damn good, regardless of genre. *_Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen season 4 yet_* That being said, I think there is one clear exception. Since he's clearly a very talented drummer he would probably be interested in listening to bands with really fucking good drummers to try and learn their parts. Bands like Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, or Queen.
They laugh at mineta's creepy ass and hate on my boy meliodas. Mineta is creeping on every girl and is evolving to while my boy is doing it for one girl and he has his reasons... Will I guess I have to wait lmfao

In anime and manga there are instances of less serious and more calm transitions between really intense story arcs because it doesn’t do well for the story if it’s just action, drama, high stakes, etc. all the time.
Love this moment from all might and midoriyas mum 👍🏻 such a beautiful scene I could watch every time
Jiro’s room is best room, Tsu is precious, and next episode has my favorite opening theme!
Lol, it's the only MHA opening I don't like XD
@@lucasfranke3326 same
And yup it is dope
If these chucklefucks keep the same intro I'm gonna riot
The first half of season 3 was my favorite opening, but the second half really grew on me
14:57 I love how all of them looked at him
I like that Sato has an Iron Man arc reactor on his shirt since this episode premiered right after Avengers: Endgame came out.
The best thing is that episode is not filler
IS 100% CANNON
Filler can be canon though, and non-canon material isn't always filler.
Filler, by definition, is any part of a narrative that does nothing to add to or reveal things about the story or characters. Whether it is canon or not has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Western anime fans have used the word incorrectly so much that the actual meaning is almost completely lost. Similar to what happened to the term "anti-hero" in the 80's and 90's.
16:26 EXACTLY IT MADE NO SENSE!
Bakugo grabbed Kaminari and had him shock himself to make everybody else laugh.
HE DOES CARE!!!
What ?
@@JesusPerez-pe8vk 5:48
@@JesusPerez-pe8vk Bakugo's Character is done surprisingly well and there are tiny tidbits that show he really cares about his class mates. When he grabbed Kaminari behind the brush he told him to shock himself making him stupid and freeing up tension from the class after Eraser's speech seeing dumb Kaminari with his thumbs up.
@@giocommentary I always thought he really did shake him down for cash huh
@@giocommentary like he appreciates that he spent money to help save him, which is rendering regarding their friendship, but then making it a little off putting/funny that he took shock bolts money
I love mineta dud voice actor his voice fits perfect with mineta personality
mineta is voiced by a girl in the dub (dont know sub as i only watch dub)
@@animegamer0329 whats wrong with that?
@@Dk_Music56 They didn't say anything was wrong, they just corrected you since you said Mineta's VA was male.

FROPPY SAD MAKES ME SAD!!!😰😭
Sad froggo
Nahid: don't hate my boy Mineta
Chris: *he's no Meliodas*
No truer words had been said 😂🤣😅
To be fair, Meliodas only does it to one girl, Mineta literally hit on the sweet and innocent Eri. Even Meliodas didn't hit on Elizabeth when she was a kid.
I just realised that Ochako and Mina stole Iidas glasses. 9:22
8:45: Yall realize no one going in Minetas room
14:58 LOL they all turned xD
NORMIES! It was not filler, it was drawn and written in the manga. Manga being its original form is without filler.
Fun fact: in the japanese version mineta is voiced by a actress
Even in Dub!
It was more of a way to distract others so no one would make a big deal or notice him repaying kirishima.
Mr. Krabs: “Invasion of privacy and borderline sexual assault boyos !”
Spongebob and Patrick: “Okay !”
I’ve been waiting so long for this and it’s finally here, I’m glad they enjoyed as much as I did
The song Micky always says the loves, it's called "You can become a hero", and yes, it was playing when All Might sayd those words to Deku.

We get an idea of Mineta's room in the All might vs All for One and Midnight vs Mt Lady episodes
I love todoroki’s room because well it screams Japanese culture and I love japan’s culture
yea bakugo like drums...you going to find out in season 5 I guess....only those who read the manga knows what I am talking about...and yea IT'S NOT SPOIL ANYTHING. ✌ Now
Edit: It's not filler...it's canon..room competition is in Manga too.
Navneet Pandey
Bakugo and the drums........ probably season 4 now..... that’s going to be interesting to see
Space Penguins It’s most likely going to be episode 23/24 of Season 4, based on how they’re pacing this arc.
Space Penguins oh yeaa your right....I just forget Time line...Btw are you Reading Hachimaru 8 ?? Kishimoto did Awesome Job...It's like Naruto On space.
Navneet Pandey
Can’t say I am
Might give it a look
Space Penguins Alright just give it try....I bet you going to like it.
Aizawa is so Kakashi and that's very cool
2:36 I missed this BGM so much, it was only played frequently in first season
Sad frog SAD FROG PROTECT PROTEEEEECT
I think those episode shows how smart the principal is.
Had to tighten my teeth not to cry every time i see the ending scene
this is not filler at all this was part of the weekly released story
"Could be considered a filler episode" I don't mean to be rude, but not every episode needs to have drama, risk, and seriousness. I personally always get a little disappointed when after a lot of character development that there isn't just a couple episodes where everything is just a bit calm, to see them living instead of just surviving or holding on.
Yall make my Wednesdays great, imma hope on the Patreon.
00:36 Why is Nahid being a baby in the corner lol?
We don't know about Deku Dad, we're sure it'll be a plot point some time in the future
He used Kaminari as a distraction, Bakugo doesn't like looking vulnerable remember? Besides it makes Kyoka happy
why so soundproof? >u>
Rookie mistake Deku, you had to expect someone to see your room even if it was passing by...he knows to go straight for Tokoyami's sword though, Dark Shadow Samurai When!?
We didn't see but I'm guessing that Bakugo's room is just rubble, with some All Might posters
Todoroki pulling that Nonchalant Badass card, master builder
Sato also has a Tony Stark shirt on
Poor Momo, she's so rich and pampered and yet so innocent
Tape guy is Sero, I remember it by just saying Sellotape in a Japanese voice XD
I don't think there's a hero college, I think they jump into Agencies
Mineta is my spirit animal
I'm running out of tears for this
Deku's dad works overseas, they mentioned it earlier in the series.
Bakugou definitely strikes me as the kind of person who listens to music purely for focus or study. Not too hard or he wouldn't be able to think, and no lyrics so he won't get distracted. Other than that, he wouldn't personally listen to music unless it was just really damn good, regardless of genre.
*_Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen season 4 yet_*
That being said, I think there is one clear exception.
Since he's clearly a very talented drummer he would probably be interested in listening to bands with really fucking good drummers to try and learn their parts. Bands like Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, or Queen.
20:37 idk why i laughtered at that... Why i lov this group so much xD?
Well atleast Meliodas does it only to his girl... Mineta is outrageous 😂😂
Meliodas respect all the women in his life, Mineta not so much but hes getting better.
Mineta= Meliodas's best friend
And next new opening!!
Rikido has a iron man shirt on!!! May be a coincidence but I like to dream
Bakugou and Kirishimas room are next to each other.
Shouji's room makes sense once you realize what kind of life he had... before he went into UA
I read something from the creator (Horikoshi) that said he didn't show Bakugou's room because it would canonically be full of....
ROMANCE NOVELS
I really, really, REALLY want you guys to get to the rest of Season 3 already.
Benjamin Canapi They’re on Episode 24 of this season (on their Premium Patreon). Also, I believe you mean Season FOUR?
@@Poseidone101 Nah I meant Season 3. I want to see their reactions to the later episodes.
Then of course Season 4.
They laugh at mineta's creepy ass and hate on my boy meliodas. Mineta is creeping on every girl and is evolving to while my boy is doing it for one girl and he has his reasons... Will I guess I have to wait lmfao
Yeah.. u got it point,, and I agree with u....
Maybe in they opinion because meliodas do touched Elizabeth body....
dude mineta never touches any of the girls
dont conpare lol
I think it's mostly because Mineta actually gets berated and punished whenever he does so blatantly, while Meliodas mostly gets away scot free. Plus, you can tell Mineta isn't supposed to be taken seriously just by his design, while Meliodas is the main character. Plus, Mineta hasn't actually fondled anyone.
@@Birthday888 well mineta is a child that is going in a dark way when he is getting older while meliodas is..... Spoilers if you know you know... But don't take my words seriously it's all jokes
Wait is Sato wearing an iron man shirt? That looks like the arc reactor symbol.
"Tsu's gonna kill everyone" 😂😂😂
20:34 It's always funny when a person says they are not a certain way, the proceeds to act in the way that reinforces to others why they think they're that way.
10:56
a change in dialogue here, which i think is kinda funny. in the English Sub, Ashido said "Asian!" instead of "Exotic!".
some people found this out some time ago that i didn't notice until revisiting this episode, but Kyōka's room had a skateboard in the manga. Studio Bones just kinda took that out. though considering how overworked alot of Japan's animators are, it'd honestly be surprising if they remembered to add every meticulous detail Horikoshi drew.
They are human after all.
@@mordredvonumbra154 yeah, and considering they've already done so much work on the series, especially after that monster of a fight previously, it's understandable that stuff like that ends up happening.
Lol Nice Guys So hyped for u guys to see this ep nice reaction i remember htis.
Next episode's gonna be lit.
2:26 actually in the sub the women says “is that all might" if i remember right
bakugo is mood
14:56 Sadpillow
16:35 Bro speaking truth... I also dont get that one. Does that imply he'd get turned on in the laundry product aisle?!
Nice one guys
Pepperidge Farm remembers when they didn’t rush through MHA eps
Just realized in Kotas room Uraraka and Mina have on Iidas glasses
You mean Iida's room?
Yo the girl's rooms start from the 3rd floor, and Mineta's room is on the 2nd floor, so he have absolutely NOTHING to do on the 3rd floor and above! So he wouldn't creep on the girl lol
2:56 mineta gang 🥵
