  • In today's video, I show you how to crochet a checkered beret step by step. This crochet tutorial is really detailed so anyone will be able to follow along. The top of the hat is 27 cm in diameter. If you wanna adjust the size of that, use a different weight yarn instead of making adjustments to the pattern.

    I did myx first ever crochet project using this pattern, I did it in plain dark green and grey for the Brim. I really love it, Pretty sure I messed it up here and there but I can't see it ^^ So I am doing this again in a thinner thread again in pink ^^

    I really love the pattern, but the idea of carrying the yarn is i think wasteful..... and why i won't be using this style pattern .....

      The thing is, any checkered pattern is like that. I thought the same until I started to cut and add on and noticed it's really the same amount being "wasted".
