It's probably a lack of care to understand in the first place. You are two different people who will inevitably disagree on how certain things are handled. You can't always put things your way, so you have to open yourself to compromise, understanding, and forgiveness in order to sensibly go through and succeed in a relationship. Conversations need to be had with ears open and the intent to solve the problem and move forward peacefully and sensibly, not to overpower or shut the other down. There's alot of power in being able to say you know what I see where you're coming from and why you would feel that way.
He needs a locking tremolo for that song. It went out of tune almost immediately. Some guys like Beck, Blackmore, and Malmsteen can keep the stock tremolo in tune by floating it way off the body, but it’s not working for Mayer here.
