I'm a huge John Mayer fan, this man is a true beast. I can now put him in the same category with Prince, Eric Clapton, and etc.

Absolutely Steve Tyler was in the house, I was there.....saw him with my own eyes!! Prior to the concert starting there was all this excitement and everyone started taking all these pics so you knew someone famous was there! Then I saw him with his daughter Liv.
you know you're pretty awesome when steven tyler is in YOUR audience.
John mayer inspired me to play guitar and start sing. But there's one thing people need to know... YOU will NEVER be as good as John mayer :)
...and I personally think his best (LIVE) years are behind him. He aint ever gonna better WTLI and Crossroads 07/08... think he should take time out for a while...let people miss him a bit and come back with something truly Mayer.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the battle studies album...maybe even more than Continuum but i just don't think he has nailed the live show yet....
Album is in my deck EVERYDAY though, without fail.

I just feel so sorry i came back to my country and i could not see John Mayer, my favorite artist .
i love this so much, i actually gained respect for him due to his music. before i jsut knew of him thru paparazzi as "player" and "jerk" or whatever.
but his music, it's like he's this completely talented person. whatever happens to his personal life, John Mayer is an amazing artist and his talent cannot be denyed.
I'm very lucky to be single, and it's a great feeling to have nothing to do, etc. Thank You very much for this great song, dear John!

I just saw John in Grand Rapids, and I have always known he made funny faces when he sings but its great to see them on the huge screen! Regardless, the concert was amazing, so is his new album! Keep at it!!

if you play those models the most interesting thing is it doesn't sound like a tele, it sounds like a strat. the tv jones pickups give a smooth strat sound and the best part is that they have no noise. hopefully eventally ill own one.

@iagoSan1992 its a guitar called duesenberg. its very similar to the rickenbacker design
@pastyourhorizon actually the cabronita has quite a mellow tone compared to the normal telecaster, but I agree that it fits well and also that the whole of Battle Studies has some different guitars and sounds!
I actually like the guitar, fender carbronita custom shop, also love the song... always in my head

This song is awesome and so is the album. Fall back with the comparisons. The backup singers are lacking though.
