This part acoustic version shows Kanami's astonishing ability as a songwriter and guitarist, Miku's talent with lyrics and not least Saiki's superb voice. Band Maid's talent extends far beyond rock.
Thanks for reacting to this original version. Many reactors cover acoustic version already, which is absolutely gorgeous, but this version is what hits my heart the most. It's so real. Not elaborated. Vocals and other instruments are deliberately holding back. In real life, you have carry on no matter what happens, Misa's bluesy bass line matches the mood so perfectly. The protagonist sighs "get a grip" to herself, but her heart is crying (Kanami does it with her guitar), the way the tone of the vocals slowly simmers, and the outburst you hear in Kanami's seconds solo... it's an absolute perfection. The original version is a Kobato song IMO. You can tell from the gap between her PO persona and lyricist kobato that she is hiding a lot of emotions behind her cute facade. The acoustic version on the other hand feels like Saiki song. She's not good at hiding emotions, it comes out straight in her voice and facial expression, but in this version Saiki and Miku sound in sync emotionally too.
Great reaction...with this song the ladies proved that they can do just about anything they put their talent to.....soft music to heavy rock...they can do it all....amazing group of musicians
