- This is unboxing and review of Italian designed Swiss made diver watch from Meccaniche Veneziane and the name of it is Nereide Ardesia. What is it with Italians and these long names :) It's a microbrand watch that is a very good quality and design.

The GMT version was a huge hit on Kickstarter, funded in 30 seconds. The GMT will have an ETA 2893-2,. There will also be an option for a Stainless steel Jubilee Bracelet. I imagine it will fit this as well, I believe the cases are the same.
Yes I think that the cases are exactly the same except for the bezel and of course a better movement in GMT. Yah that Jubilee bracelet is pretty nice.
Great video, this has definitely sold the watch to me! I'm going to go for the san marco but buy extra bezels ! For the price I think it is very good.
I got the NEREIDE GMT DIASPRO CREMA, but its so hard to select from all of the available colors.

I have seen that case design too many times already. I wish they added something to it, chamfered edges or rounded, polished sides like the yachtmaster for example would look awesome.
They have changed it now with version 4.0 but I don't think its swiss made like this older model.
The blue on the crown is a protector :')
Yah I know :), it was sitting on it pretty hard and did not look like protector initially, then it fell off after wearing the watch :)
and the case is brushed steel, not aluminum. Still looks pretty good
Very cool, I really like the design of their watches. Seems like really good quality, I’m thinking about getting one soon.
Make sure to get the swiss made one, many of the newer watches are not swiss made like the older ones are.
I have Tissot Seastar Powermatic 80 and there are a lot od similarities but I love decorated movement in this watch. I can say this microbrand created very interesting watches at good prices. Still I think i would choose Oris Aquis instead of Meccaniche Veneziane for next watch.
I know what you mean.. the brand name.. Also I think that the Tissot has better movement, I think its ETA. But these are actually are pretty good for the price.

@@fiveminutewatchreviews4197 that leather strap looks a bit like suede? Had bad experience with Tan suede straps, it just went dark almost black from grime. Not sure if this would be same with this model?
Bought a limited edition Nereide. They claim it’s one out of 20. So you think this is true? If so will it be worth more down the road? Got it for $820 new
One out of 20? really? I did not know they had a limited addition like that. I am not sure if this watch will be that hot like some of the Zelos watches. Maybe in future.. I was getting some offers for my GMT version. So maybe if its special limited edition..

Wish they gave a metal/mesh or waterproof leather strap.
Ahh they do give a silicone strap. Now deciding between their new GMT with the ETA movement versus this watch.

I like their soon starting Kickstarter for GMT with ETA movements also some beautiful color combinations they have, there. Makes it very hard to choose.:)

Is it a reliable movemnt? Automatic CAL.MV145 Does any other watch company use it?
It's calmv135 on the version I have. Not sure exactly think its probably seagul movement, I am not sure what other companies use it.

Probably so, but the design on this watch is really good, also this was the swiss made version. They sell other versions also, there is a difference.
I wish a proper ceramic bezel not this cheap aluminium crap with a misaligned dot.
They have those now available.
