Excellent discussion between learnered scholars al-humdulillah. These matters should always be discussed in the spirit of understanding and flexibility demonstrated by both speakers (may Allah 'azza wa jal protect and preserve them, Amin).
Walaikumusalaam Wa rahmatullahi Wa barakahatuhu A very thorough and informative discussion, alhumdulillah. I greatly appreciate you stating that, “Our history is human, but our religion is divine”. Thank you so much for discussing that ideal changes should begin at a local level rather than global through exemplifying Islamic values individually, seeking Allah (swt)’s guidance, and hoping for Allah (swt)’s pleasure. Jazakum Allahu khairun Barak Allahu Feekum, Aameen Assalaamualaikum Wa rahmatullahi Wa barakahatuhu
Assalamu alaikum. He is not an entertainer. We need to be careful when referring to our scholars. We need to be humble and patient and get the best out of others and ignore what bothers us. May Allah forgive and guide us all. Alsooo, to be fair to our minds of this day and age... You could also speed up the video up to x2, that's what I do 😊 it helps!
@@theuniverseofothman7660Absolutely. Plus we are not the same. Every scholar or every human being has their own way of expressing ideas. They took time to present this topic for us umma, this shouldn't be the way we reply to them. There is a better way of presenting criticism. May Allah forgive us all for our shortcomings, amiin.
We can not have a United caliphate like the rashidun caliphate ever again, we never had a unified one, if there was ummayad there was abbasids too if there was abbasids there cordoba too, sometimes we had 3 CALIPHATE TOGETHER IN THE SAME TIME, IT WAS FATIMID CALIPHATE VS ABBASIDS CALIPHATE VS UMMAYAD EMIR/CALIPHS IN SPAIN. I brought these caliphates up because literally no muslim country and their leader wouldn't even think about bringing caliphate back because of the divided Muslim states, so it seems impossible, so what should we do? Nothing? Let it be 2 or 3 caliphates together we always had this, for example Iran, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia/Egypt can be great candidates for declaring caliphate, Pakistan Afghanistan Iraq eventually can join Iran, Syria Lebanon Jordan Palestine eventually can join Turkey, Yemen Libya Algeria Tunis Morocco eventually can join Saudi Arabia or Egypt, in middle east there so many examples of countries get United, Egypt Syria and Yemen once were 1 country based on pan arabism even without sharing any physical borders.
Excellent informative video. Hoping a great number of brothers and sisters watch this Inshallah.
