I'm using a safari manual for past 2years. What he says is true. Till now I am regretting buying a manual or even safari itself. Unless you get used to it changing from 1st gear to 2nd is a nightmare and Infotainments are full of bugs. It is a beauty from the outside and total garbage inside.
Same feel after getting manual, even couldn’t trust and give to acting drivers for emergency since they will not be used to this car’s first and second gear shift overs, anything less than 1000 rpm in second directly it cuts off the engine and engages the hand brake.
i drive a manual as well, it takes time to get used to the gear shifts, but once u find the sweet spot, its a breeze to drive. btw, i drive in bumper to bumper traffic, atleast 10km stretch, 3 days in a week, in bangalore.... i never felt tired... i used to get tired in my manual petrol swift in the past.... About the infotainment, i hear stories similar to urs, so i bought a base version without iinfotaiinment and digital cluster.. i got the analog cluster.. and i got a blaupunkt entertainment unit from a reliable aftermarket store :)

he is absolutely right, service center is worst part of tata experience and quality control is also worst in the indian car industry, never buy tata because of patriotism your car experience will be a nightmare to say the least
Say No to Tata ❌️❌️❌️.. I own a nexon in February 2024.. The new vehicle has so many panels gaps.. especially the panel gap on the rear is huge .. when it rains, my boot gets full wet. Dealer says it is common for all Nexon and agreed that its manufacturer defect so nothing to do with us.. you can raise an issue with Tata Motors 😢 No response from Tata.. I'm afraid to take my car during the rainy season. please dont blind buy Tata products. I'm waiting for the 3XO user review and buy it next year ! I'm ready for user review with rain testing in my car, sir !!!!
We had a very bad experience with Concord then, with our Safari Dicor, So we chose Mahindra over Tata, i think, now they have a service tie up with Lakshmi motors. i would have opted for the new Safari again if they would have changed their service tie up before we move. Anyway no regrets / complaints about buying Mahindra, the vehicle and also the service is good so far.
Great bro. My thoughts about Xuv7oo ❤ Am the owner of xuv7oo (Diesel Automatic) for the last 1.5 years: The flaw which i am facing in my car is only the suspension issue that too if i am going alone. If it 4 people there wont be a issue. But the merits are more when compared to Hycross, Tata Safari and Harrier, Kia carens/ Sonet and Creta Diesel. 1) Xuv7oo offers the powerful engine when compared to any of its competitors. Diesel Automatic specifications: Bhp - 185 Torque - 450 Diesel Manual - BHP - 185 Torque- 420 Petrol Automatic & Manual - BHP - 200 Torque - 380 2) Xuv is having their own engine not like Tata. Tata sourced from FIAT. And its the same engine used in MG Hector , Jeep Compass. 3) And Xuv7oo gear box is their own and not like Tata which they are buying from Hyundai ( Old Tucson gear box). 4) In xuv700 3 adults can sit comfortably in second row. But in Tata Safari and Harrier 3 adults cant because there will be big hump in the floor for the middle passenger. 5) Xuv7oo no issue for the tall driver but in Harrier (old and new model) the dashboard will hit the persons leg. 6) Delivery of xuv700 was very good and i did PDI before a week. 7) Xuv700 service is very good and the knowledge of the service person is good. But the maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle you cant compare with Hyundai. 8) Xuv 700 you will get a flat fold of seats in 3rd row but in Safari its only 80% 9) Xuv 700 is the only vehicle 95% flat floor in second floor. 10) Hycross is non turbo car due to this we will miss the performance and mileage. 11) And Hycross is having CVT technology it's good but not reliable like Torque converter. But the same Toyota is offering Torque converter gear box technology for I 1) Innova Crysta (Old Diesel Automatic) 2) Fortuner (Diesel Automatic) 3) Toyota Land Cruiser 4) Lexus LX 500D And if you take any premium brands like Bmw, Benze, Jaguar etc all are having Torque converter technology for most (80% models) of their models.
Great review! Not only Tata any brand we have to do PDI and ask questions on features during PDI then get the delivery on future days else these kind of issues might happen.
plwace clear my doubt I am driving my car on the left track of highway and i want to turn upcomming left side road. So if necessary i will put left indicator and if i will turn left side road without switching left indicator is affence ?
Not like that but better put indicator because you are driving a car not bike..always remember left is always short and right is always long so that you get way for vehicle coming from left..

I'm well aware of all this. I love XUV700 around anything. When it comes to fun to drive below 80 lakh except XUV700 2.2 mHawk manual there is nothing left in India. If the XUV700 has a 4*4 manual then there is no second thought. Front wheel drive sucked 20% of its power and 50% dynamic torque. Theory lovers speak about 2000 front wheel drive advantages but reality is way different. If Mahindra has to work one thing on XUV 700 means definitely it's their gear box.. they made a BMW kind of engine but fixed it with a Maruti kind of gear box still it's butter smooth and flawless but no character
I possess a tata vehicle as well. So service cant be generalized basically. The man who lives at a specific place has the issue with the service - agreed but thats not the case everywhere. I stay at a tier two city in Karnataka and in my 4 years of service experience with Tata Motors the service is excellent. They care for the car and give timely updates and everything. I strongly feel like its the dealership issues and may be Tata must take stringent actions on such dealers to maitain the quality of the brand. But, according to me or where I live the service is excellent and vehicle quality or ride comfort is superb, no doubt about it. Also, my sales person explained everything in detail for close to 30 minutes, same case with my friend as well. So it all depends on the dealership and the type of sales person they hire.

While there was a mistake from owner by not taking test drive of manual his knowledge otherwise is very good 👌🏻👌🏻also your ownership videos doesn't matter how big is always knowledgeable and very useful for new buyers
Also shows PDI is mandatory for cars these days especially for high selling brands as such seat and screw missing should not have been the case when it came out of manufacturing unit at least should have been caught by showroom but they are lazy even if they know
@vijuvlogs its not a mistake for not taking test drive in manual. so the dealers hav a rule to get only top end vehicles as test driv vehicles... so automatic version is the only top end which the dealer can get... u can check at any show room..

They don't care for customers.. Mahindra to some extent similar. This is True for most states. If you had been to any other manufacturers especially the ones which sell cars as much as Tata they would have definitely arranged for a manual. This dealership you visited don't buy from them
If you are planning to spend more than 23 lakhs please avoid Tata and mahindra. My neighbor tow his Tata harrier atleast twice a year 😂. After frustration he sold it within 3 years and brought a kia. And from my personal experience I have driven 2 to 3 Tata car like nexon, harrier and safari. All of them are sluggish and really a bad drivers car. I don't understand why Indian's waste their money on TATA cars. Also everyone of my friends and family gave worst feedback about service. If you want best driver oriented car go to german brands or if you want an all rounder go to hyundai or just go directly to Toyota.
I experience with 2 cars, Tata hexa and Tata tigor i faced with worst experience with this 2 cars, As u said when problem comes they cant find out the actual problem, Tata hexa i used 1 ly 6k kms cause of worst quality of body, in 3 months gets starts rust in dicky door. I have complained a lot, even i tweet to Tata also there no use. Then for tigor mileage issue, so many times went to service center they cant find out the exact problem, in showroom they promised that tigor gives 22kms per litre but i got 12,13. Tata service was worst and not technically good.
I agree with the Vechile service quality is worst even in Tata EV. Same problem faced while Vechile delivery, I have not received Demo for my 21Lkh Nexon EV 2024

Bro, if you are planning don't ever buy Dct, Dsg gearbox. Best and reliable gearbox is Torque converter. This the best gear box worldwide and all the Toyota cars (except hycross) , xuv, Safari and Harrier. Still you want to buy Kia carens go for diesel Automatic which comes with Torque converter. Because dct , dsg are dry clutch and comes with dual clutch for odd gears and even gears.

@@karthikbalan9279 Sir my first choice was also Carens Diesel but now it comes with Ad-Blue (not a problem) but the problem is from Diesel Particulate Filter and it's Regeneration (my usage is totally unpredictable for Daily Work I use S-Presso but sometimes I have to travel to Chennai and Bangalore atleast once per week totally 3 times per month and our family needs a 7 Seater with functional 3rd Row Seat only Kia Carens and Innova Hycross have use able 3rd Row seat
Suv/ Small Suv with Torque converter technology are below: Kia Sonet Kia carens Creta Alcazar XUV 700 (Both petrol and Diesel) Still Safari and Harrier are having Torque converter but I won't recommend for the below reasons: 1) Engine not belongs to Tata, they are getting from Fiat. 2) 3 Adults can't sit comfortably in second row because of the hump in the middle of the floor 3) Third row can't be fold completely like xuv 7oo. 4) Leg will touch the front dashboard bottom in Harrier 5) Diesel Engine is not smooth like xuv 7oo. 6) Fit and Finish you can't compare with Hyundai, Kia and even with Xuv 7oo.

Spending such a huge amount in a tata or mahandira product is like knife on the head..... what can we do there is very limited options in this segment 😢...like the innova hycross has the waiting period over an year for it's mid varient vx and vx(o) the top end varients are always halted...😢

I respect your choice of car and car .. whatever cost you would have given a lot of thought and bought .. my only suggestion would have been is automatic .. if you driving less in city and only in highways then it’s not a big deal
Only couple of things good in tata motors in all tata cars like high speed stablity in highway, anf good responsive steering I have been commenting in all social media videos about my altroz reliablity issues infact all tata users are regretting their car buying decisions some broad minded people are accepting the problems and live with that issues until they sell the car My tata car issues are followed by first and second gear problems ,qc issues and panel gap issues , roof alignment is not proper like basic mandatory things are not proper in tata motors and one more hell is service centre. How much decade tata motors crossing and focusing and launching new models but they still not focusing service improvements.

Spending 28L on Tata or Mahindra may not be a good decision. Could have gone for Innova/Innova Hycross.

I feel pitty for the customer for spending huge amount
We had a very bad experience with Concord then, with our Safari Dicor, So we chose Mahindra over Tata, i think, now they have a service tie up with Lakshmi motors. i would have opted for the new Safari again if they would have changed their service tie up before we move. Anyway no regrets / complaints about buying Mahindra, the vehicle and also the service is good so far.

Am the owner of xuv7oo (Diesel Automatic) for the last 1.5 years:
The flaw which i am facing in my car is only the suspension issue that too if i am going alone. If it 4 people there wont be a issue.
But the merits are more when compared to Hycross, Tata Safari and Harrier, Kia carens/ Sonet and Creta Diesel.
1) Xuv7oo offers the powerful engine when compared to any of its competitors.
Diesel Automatic specifications:
Bhp - 185
Torque - 450
Diesel Manual -
BHP - 185
Torque- 420
Petrol Automatic & Manual -
BHP - 200
Torque - 380
2) Xuv is having their own engine not like Tata. Tata sourced from FIAT. And its the same engine used in MG Hector , Jeep Compass.
3) And Xuv7oo gear box is their own and not like Tata which they are buying from Hyundai ( Old Tucson gear box).
4) In xuv700 3 adults can sit comfortably in second row. But in Tata Safari and Harrier 3 adults cant because there will be big hump in the floor for the middle passenger.
5) Xuv7oo no issue for the tall driver but in Harrier (old and new model) the dashboard will hit the persons leg.
6) Delivery of xuv700 was very good and i did PDI before a week.
7) Xuv700 service is very good and the knowledge of the service person is good. But the maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle you cant compare with Hyundai.
8) Xuv 700 you will get a flat fold of seats in 3rd row but in Safari its only 80%
9) Xuv 700 is the only vehicle 95% flat floor in second floor.
10) Hycross is non turbo car due to this we will miss the performance and mileage.
11) And Hycross is having CVT technology it's good but not reliable like Torque converter.
But the same Toyota is offering Torque converter gear box technology for I
1) Innova Crysta (Old Diesel Automatic)
2) Fortuner (Diesel Automatic)
3) Toyota Land Cruiser
4) Lexus LX 500D
And if you take any premium brands like Bmw, Benze, Jaguar etc all are having Torque converter technology for most (80% models) of their models.

plwace clear my doubt I am driving my car on the left track of highway and i want to turn upcomming left side road. So if necessary i will put left indicator and if i will turn left side road without switching left indicator is affence ?
Not like that but better put indicator because you are driving a car not bike..always remember left is always short and right is always long so that you get way for vehicle coming from left..

I'm well aware of all this. I love XUV700 around anything. When it comes to fun to drive below 80 lakh except XUV700 2.2 mHawk manual there is nothing left in India. If the XUV700 has a 4*4 manual then there is no second thought. Front wheel drive sucked 20% of its power and 50% dynamic torque. Theory lovers speak about 2000 front wheel drive advantages but reality is way different. If Mahindra has to work one thing on XUV 700 means definitely it's their gear box.. they made a BMW kind of engine but fixed it with a Maruti kind of gear box still it's butter smooth and flawless but no character

I possess a tata vehicle as well. So service cant be generalized basically. The man who lives at a specific place has the issue with the service - agreed but thats not the case everywhere. I stay at a tier two city in Karnataka and in my 4 years of service experience with Tata Motors the service is excellent. They care for the car and give timely updates and everything. I strongly feel like its the dealership issues and may be Tata must take stringent actions on such dealers to maitain the quality of the brand. But, according to me or where I live the service is excellent and vehicle quality or ride comfort is superb, no doubt about it. Also, my sales person explained everything in detail for close to 30 minutes, same case with my friend as well. So it all depends on the dealership and the type of sales person they hire.

Also shows PDI is mandatory for cars these days especially for high selling brands as such seat and screw missing should not have been the case when it came out of manufacturing unit at least should have been caught by showroom but they are lazy even if they know
@vijuvlogs its not a mistake for not taking test drive in manual. so the dealers hav a rule to get only top end vehicles as test driv vehicles... so automatic version is the only top end which the dealer can get... u can check at any show room..

If you are planning to spend more than 23 lakhs please avoid Tata and mahindra. My neighbor tow his Tata harrier atleast twice a year 😂. After frustration he sold it within 3 years and brought a kia. And from my personal experience I have driven 2 to 3 Tata car like nexon, harrier and safari. All of them are sluggish and really a bad drivers car. I don't understand why Indian's waste their money on TATA cars. Also everyone of my friends and family gave worst feedback about service. If you want best driver oriented car go to german brands or if you want an all rounder go to hyundai or just go directly to Toyota.

I experience with 2 cars, Tata hexa and Tata tigor i faced with worst experience with this 2 cars, As u said when problem comes they cant find out the actual problem, Tata hexa i used 1 ly 6k kms cause of worst quality of body, in 3 months gets starts rust in dicky door. I have complained a lot, even i tweet to Tata also there no use. Then for tigor mileage issue, so many times went to service center they cant find out the exact problem, in showroom they promised that tigor gives 22kms per litre but i got 12,13. Tata service was worst and not technically good.

Bro, if you are planning don't ever buy Dct, Dsg gearbox. Best and reliable gearbox is Torque converter. This the best gear box worldwide and all the Toyota cars (except hycross) , xuv, Safari and Harrier. Still you want to buy Kia carens go for diesel Automatic which comes with Torque converter. Because dct , dsg are dry clutch and comes with dual clutch for odd gears and even gears.

@@karthikbalan9279 Sir my first choice was also Carens Diesel but now it comes with Ad-Blue (not a problem) but the problem is from Diesel Particulate Filter and it's Regeneration (my usage is totally unpredictable for Daily Work I use S-Presso but sometimes I have to travel to Chennai and Bangalore atleast once per week totally 3 times per month and our family needs a 7 Seater with functional 3rd Row Seat only Kia Carens and Innova Hycross have use able 3rd Row seat

3) Third row can't be fold completely like xuv 7oo.
4) Leg will touch the front dashboard bottom in Harrier
5) Diesel Engine is not smooth like xuv 7oo.
6) Fit and Finish you can't compare with Hyundai, Kia and even with Xuv 7oo.

The more problematic thing is Diesel Particulate Filter and it's Regeneration.
My Daily use is covered by S-Presso but sometimes I have to travel to Chennai and Bangalore atleast 3 times per month and that too for only 2 Days Max so I have to consider that and for some month I Don't have to go for 2 months together and my other need is my family needs a 7-Seater with practical 3rd row Seats which only Kia Carens and Toyota Innova Hycross gives and Carens is less by 7 Lakhs compared to Hycross Hybrid

I have been commenting in all social media videos about my altroz reliablity issues infact all tata users are regretting their car buying decisions some broad minded people are accepting the problems and live with that issues until they sell the car
My tata car issues are followed by first and second gear problems ,qc issues and panel gap issues , roof alignment is not proper like basic mandatory things are not proper in tata motors and one more hell is service centre. How much decade tata motors crossing and focusing and launching new models but they still not focusing service improvements.
