    when i was 9 years old I found a perfect snail fossil while playing in our garden i still have it today

    My father takes photos of Ammonites that shows the ambient glow of the minerals inside them. As far as we know he is the only person to be able to photograph ammonites and other minerals in this way.

    If you find a truly rare and beautiful fossil, for example an intact T-Rex skull. Is this fossil legally yours to own and sell if you wanted?
    Or is it similar to treasure finds, where you’ve got to basically hand it over?

    Sick hilde. To prepare it would you plan on gluing it back together and prepping? It looked like some of the shell came off with the split

      Really nice fossil isn’t it! That’s correct, part of the inner whorl shell came off, so we will either glue it back together and prepare the other side, or repair the existing side
