I love your videos. I also want to compliment your father for being an excellent sculptor. Very few people can refine a fossil and create such a beautiful platform for them the way he does. My compliments to him as a retired stone sculptor. You two brothers and your dad work so well as a team, I am totally impressed. I have learned so much from you. Ammonites are on of my very favorite fossils due to the spiral shape. After watching you find and split, then the necessary polishing stage, I understand why they cost as much as they do. I am definitely respectful. I think the last three fossils were all my favorites.
Soóoóo envious of you boys having all that on your doorstep 😊you are so enthusiastic with every find even though you have discovered hundreds .Your father does such a good job preparing them too bringing out all the details 👍
Really nice finds. And the preped fossil specimen are just beautiful. And the other fossils have been preped great. Your dad has done a great job preping them.
WOW the prepped specimens are just amazing!! When I was a young child, I used to open rocks with a hammer to see what the inside looked like. Your channel fascinates me, each find is so fun, even if you have hundreds of them!
Really loved that final nautilus. That’s a one in a million find. I’ve been into fossil hunting ever since I was a kid when dad took me to Lyme Regis. None of the ammonites were anything near as good as those you find. I was in Whitby but couldn’t find anything then. Very exciting days you have - keep up the good work.
I live in rural Washington State. We have many miles of beach front, but I've never heard of people finding fossils. A farmer south of us found a whole mastodon fossil in his pasture. It was a pretty big deal locally and world wide. It was called the Manis Mastodon Site. It is now a 2 acre archeological site.
Wow! The last one of the prepared Nautilus is so beautifull, a Dreamfind… our Fossils here in the „Odenwald“ are always in grey… Ammonites and Shells… but some much more bigger! Good Luck and happy hunting!
Love all your vids guys! What would've happened if these fossils had remained in the ground, not come out of the cliff, and not found by humans or exposed? If it took them millions of years to get to this stated, what would have happened to them in the future? Would different minerals have leached in?
Another great video. What sort of creature lived in the shells. I love watching everything you guys do and of course like hundreds of others wish I was there looking for ammonites as well
Love the Yorkshire coastline, missing the UK, I live in Melbourne Australia now , looking forward to getting back home to visit family, and of course, go on some fossil hunts. Keep up the good work :)
I especially love the Nautilis with the crystalline chambers. Thank you so much for showing us that beautiful waterfall. Does the water run down into the ocean?
What a beautiful piece, the one with the 3 big ammonites inside! Do you have footage from the actual find/splitting and/or how it looked before prepairing (after splitting)?
Hey do you guys do fossil preparation services? I know you have done contract work and the likes for museums and universities as the two I go to have some specimens you prepared! But I was wondering if you did services like someone sends you a fossil and you prepare it for a price like what whitbyfossils does?
As an old retired American English teacher I have to comment constructively on your English grammar. It’s not “me and my brother” … It’s “my brother and I.” I always told my students you can tell which is correct by making a single subject sentence out of the phrase: Is it “me makes something” or is it “I make something?”
I cant help but think you guys live in a natural history museum. Your collection is impressive!
Haha thank you! Much appreciated 🙏🏻🐊
@@YorkshireFossilsHello I have a question what beach did you find those fossils this glorious fossil video caught my interest:7

I think so too!
Your Father does beautiful work. They look stunning when he has worked on them.
Another great video! I enjoy watching scenery as much as finding your treasures. Are you using a new camera?
We have been using another camera lately indeed! Thanks 🙏🏻
Amazing preparations.

Your videos are fun to watch. Just one suggestion, please some day upload a complete video of preparation at home...it would be fun to watch it too.
Thanks so much 🙏🏻 We’ll certainly make videos like that in the future

Aaron,
Can coprolite contain evidence of the animals intestines'?
Cheers,
Rik Spector
They certainly can contain partially digested material, we have one with fish scales present and another with a tooth 🦷!
How do you know what rocks to pick?
We’ve learned it over the years but there’s no specific rule as such
This is a great video!
Very beautiful triple fossil
That block with the three is gorgeous. What do you do with all of those ammonites? Sell them? Or what?
Thanks so much! We keep the rare/significant specimens. Other fossils are sold to help cover costs associated
The little ones remind me of macaroon cookies
Wow superb 👍
These guys are like marauders
Love the sweatshirt
That second nodule sounded like a GP rifle!
3rd nautalos ❤
