I'm doing this in reverse, and watching all of the reviews after buying my machine. Thanks for the review, though!! I'm very much in the honeymoon phase (this is day 2 of my machine) but I'm loving it so far. Also, pro tip for your viewers, if you have a costco membership I was able to get this machine for $200 plus taxes.

Thanks for the very good review of the Citiz&Milk. Great job! I just bought one about 2 weeks ago and feel the same as you. Nice to have, but not a necessity. I chose this one over the Nespresso Verturo models for the same reason as you. I did not want to be locked into only having Nespresso brand of coffee, as those verturo pods are not available in 3rd party brands like the original capsules are. Still on the fence about this purchase….. Nice, but not a necessity for me as I primarily drink brewed coffee from an Aeropress. I thought buying the CitIZ machine I would enjoy espresso coffee or americano coffee, but I do prefer the Aeropress coffee over the CitIZ coffee. But it is so simple to use the Nespresso Citiz&Milk. Just press a button and out it comes. For convenience it is great. It will be nice for guests though, as they can make espresso coffee, cappuccinos or lattes.

Starbucks in store brand makes vertuo style pods and there is a thingy for adding your choice of ground coffee like with Keurig.

@@adrianaquin monin, white choclate, pistachio and torani vanilla bean, salted carmel. The lavender and cane sugar syrups I dont mind either brand. Both have pure made and sugar free options.
Congrats for the video. Do you hear a constant low static noise when it’s plugged in even when it’s off? I just bought the same model, chrome, but I'm afraid that mine could have the same problem.
No, I don’t hear noise when it’s off
How does the coffee from your traditionally brewed coffee maker compare to the Nespresso Citiz ?
Honestly, I still use both. Depends on if I want a latte or just regular brewed coffee. Th Citiz did not replace my brewed coffee just added another option.

You're welcome! I would say I'm still not getting much use out of it in the summer time but I did find iced coffee pods which help greatly. The milk you use also makes a difference.

Yes, I do! And use it often!

Yes, I would say it makes a pretty distinct, strong noise, but it last less than 30 secs to brew
