I, lived in honolulu from 84 to 07....had to leave due to a bad meth addiction....am moving back in the winter of 24......i can only watch this now cause im moving back......if i could never move back i could not watch this due to the pain it would cause me...i miss honolulu so bad sometimes i would cry when i saw it on the news etc...

Feel like I am back there driving to the North Shore for shave ice.
Those fields were once full of sugar cane and pineapple.

I lived there 84 to 07....I am moving back in 24 for good......I loved the center of the island back in da day.....all the awesome fields.....fav memory driving down kam hwy to north shoe with the tall sugar cane and seeing the blue ocean in front of me on my way to swim in it.....i remember old man Matsumoto would always be standing watching the store/shave ice stand on weekends while the place was packed he would just stand there with a smile on his face....
