I watch a lot of gardening videos, yours is very informative, pictures and videos of the actual worms, moths laying eggs, very good. I learned from it. Thx
Very good info. Good presentation. In my garden, I have been learning about this to know more about that. It's such a continual process. BT application at NIGHT. Makes sense. Like suggestion of more nitrogen for leafies. Makes sense. Had gone other way with tomatoes/squash/eggplant/melons/beans/peas. Fruit. Different.
Hi! I have a raised garden w a physical barrier but caterpillars still got in! Will try the other solutions. I actually get annoyed at aphids and caterpillars lol i cant imagine u spending so much time physically checking all yr plants
I get that, consider applying B.t. as a preventative. You may need to apply it throughout the growing season, but if you keep an eye out for eggs or caterpillars then you could apply it as needed.
yes im checking every morning tho pm when they're feeding is better as u say. I'll get BT and snail/slig.bait as I've got baby slugs. I just realised that u are so invested because yr plants ARE yr babies! yr garden is invaluable as prices go thru the roof too.
Hello! B.t. is the only product that I use for caterpillars, and it targets them selectively. For most other insects I utilize insecticidal soap. I really avoid using products stronger than that.

Many many thanks!

3:14 This is what I have, and I'm trying to identify! Please tell me what sort of Caterpillar this is? Thank you very much, big help!
😮does crop rotation work AT ALL for lettuce caterpillars?
I don't think so, and I am skeptical about general crop rotation being effective in urban gardens.
Hi,
Which do you prefer to use for bugs and caterpillars, Bt or Neem Oil?
Hello! B.t. is the only product that I use for caterpillars, and it targets them selectively. For most other insects I utilize insecticidal soap. I really avoid using products stronger than that.
What kind of insecticidal soap do you use?
Is that BT insecticide organic and safe to consume?
Organic certification varies by brand. B.t. is a naturally occurring bacteria, and a thorough washing of produce is always a good idea.
