I agree. The flowers I buy in Canada never come with the stems and the flower itself is nowhere as thick and strong like yours, that you're able to over lap the ends like that...
Tried to make them (to many pumpkins on garden), inserted into oil, in 15 seconds filling made a hole in the flower and dough and most of the filling came out and made oil black and whole apartment has a cheese smell. Thew everything to garbage bin, maybe next year.
How is the filling un-healthy? I lost 140lbs in 7 months eating as much eggs, cheese, meat, nuts and green vegetables as I wanted, just limit carbs to 20 grams a day.

You can put only 1spoon to just "condiment". Or, you can use goat cheese instead for a milder flavour
