Super Powers was and is timeless and these two are fine examples of why series 1 and 2 were killing it! I’m surprised Brad didn’t show the artwork on the front of the file cards instead of Jose Luis Garcia’s artwork from the DC guide. I remember my brother got GL and I got Batman for our first figures. My brother ripped GL open which tore up the front of the file card. For the longest time never knew what GL’s artwork looked like until I finally got carded figure off Ebay and opened him, very carefully. 😉
Same here! I like action figures that have bright colors, look comic accurate, and have the five points! I don't need an 8 inch tall figure with 1,000 points of articulation for $50.
Great Video! Brought back some good memories! I was so disappointed that they never made Black Canary so I used the blonde girl from "Captain Power" as a substitute. More please!
Nice one! I managed to finally find an affordable Super Powers Superman here in the UK (Super Powers weren't really a thing over here so it's not that common to find them used) so he's now sitting in my Superman display. He was capeless but I made him a little custom one as per Toy Polloi's instructions. I also threw a bid on a loose Batman that turned up on eBay, it was at £3 with a few hours to go but ended up going for £29! Considering he's definitely one of the more common figures in the line you can see that Super Powers collecting in the UK is almost impossible unless you have a huge budget, even the more common ones aren't cheap and the rarer ones barely ever show up and cost a fortune when they do. A shame but at least I can watch your videos to see each of the figures.
Brilliant video!!! As a kid I had Robin,Flash, and Joker. Then one of my friends from school(1993) gave me green lantern and green arrow both were pretty beat up xd
You should have titled this video "hard travelin' heroes". Also have you seen some of the videos by a guy called "Spector Creative". he worked at mattel and primeraly did things like the DCUC and DCSH lines, he made some videos talking about some cancelled things as well as some stuff about how the dcuc line was directly inspired by super powers great video :-)
This line was so epic the molds ended up being reused for the Toy Biz re-releases, the Kenner Batman figure line and then the Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves toy line, albeit often covered with cloth goods.
Do you have or plan to get that Clark Kent figure? Also, would you ever consider doing a video with every kenner super powers action figure and playset/vehicle that was released or unreleased? Like an "every ___ ever" video? I would love that

This Super Powers line is so timeless, its unreal. I wish some company would find a way to continue to line with articulated 5 point figures.

Some of the molds for the Prince of Thieves line came from the Return of the Jedi line as well.
Just got my GL for $17. Without the lantern, unfortunately, but in great shape and mechanism working !!!!

They are REALLY good for the time though. And very comic accurate. Some Hal Jordan figures from the early 2000s look worse.
