I love OB and have a lot of OB pieces.They make the best cut t-shirts…but they are incredibly fragile. Every one has developed belt level pin holes after one or two wears (and I never wear belts with their t-shirts for that reason anyway). OB always replace them no questions asked, but the amount of t-shirts I’ve sent back for replacement is getting ridiculous. Disappointing because nobody cuts a t-shirt like OB.
Interesting feedback, they are lovely and comfortable but like you say will stretch and mark very easily. I also have Reiss t-shirts and I prefer those. Tailored fit, slightly thicker and better quality. But admittedly JB never wore those. 😂
Oh. I was hoping you were going to talk about actual West Coast Bond brands, as like made on the West Coast, i.e, Rogue Territory, Danner, Tommy Bahamas and potentially Pendleton and Filson.

I always think OB is an interesting brand. I own a couple of the lovely soft linen shirts and a few of the t-shirts (I agree the t-shirts can be pretty fragile and will stretch out of shape very easily) and I also have a pair of the swim shorts. All beautifully made. However a lot of the products are so jazzy and crazy that unless you’re in the Bahamas you’ll just look a twit. 😂 The London store is always empty, it’s quite small but always has 6 members of staff, it’s quite intimidating going in there as they all tend to watch you, so I tend to buy from selfridges instead. 😂 Not surprisingly whenever the website has a sale the products sell very quickly. I work in luxury clothing and I know they are mostly on an 70-80% profit margin which hurts when you know how much they charge for some items, however not as crazy as some designer labels. Finally though I’m not knocking the brand at all, the clothes are great quality and they fit very well. 😊
