I shopped for everything I needed for my first child in Babies R Us 2005. I remember Toys R Us from my childhood. My grandma used to take me there and let me pick out anything I wanted for my birthday 🦒
Same, my son was born in 2005. So glad I got to take him and let him see, I mean run around the store

As a former employee of toys r us I remember a lot of these. A lot of them are store credit and Generic gift cards. Then there are a couple special promo cards.
The giant Toy R Us in our are is now a Hobby Lobby. Interesting how it was started up in 2020.
My eldest niece she'll be 26 next Feb, but when she was a toddler. Me and my brother would take her to Toys R Us in England. I think me and brother played more around the store 🤣 Shame it folded 😢 Great little finds you have there 👍 I'm new to your channel by the way. I enjoy watching abandoned properties etc.

Omg..a blast from my childhood..I remember some of those..I know I'm getting old seeing those..great finds..
So the one card that was covered in dirt that was the Mario one it said celebrating 25 years of Mario I looked up when that was it was 1985
False, the Celebration of 25 years of mario was in 2010.
tldr: wrong, 2010 was when it was held.

They say in the beginning, a toy r us kid, it's true I miss mine near my home. Although it was nearly impossible to get in an out, but it was good memories.
Fun fact: toys r us came back and there are now more than 10k stores in the world😊

Aight I'll admit it: I worked at Toys in college doing overnights, stocking shelves and setting signage. It was pretty cool, fun people to work with. We used to eat the pouch applesauces from the Babies R Us side that didn't sell lol. Yanno, before they all got recalled. I feel old now. 😅
When I was a kid in the early 80s I lived near Sunnyvale California and I used to go to the Toys R Us there. It was supposed to be haunted but all I cared about was what star wars toys they had back then.

Toys R Us Was My Old All Time Favorite Store To Shop At With My Brother In 2019 Around And Sadly It Closed Down And My 9 Year Old Brother Is Missing it. Also you should definitely keep the gift cards and if you find a store, use them!

My first toysRus shopping was in hongkong back in 93...wish i was kid again
