I love his music and it changed the trajectory of my life. I grew up in Cleveland, OH. To earn my way thru college, I worked in auto factories, steel mills and machine shops. I graduated from college and moved west to Idaho and I now have a ranch up in the mountains outside of Boise, ID. I live among wild turkey, elk, deer, cougar, moose and bobcat. He inspired me and told me thru his songs there was a better life I could live. I left Ohio when the local river, the Cuyahoga, caught on fire....that did it for me. It was like Dorothy, leaving Kansas and waking up in OZ.....The river in Boise was so pristine, that I could trout fish a few steps from the state capitol building. His music pointed the way to the rest of my life....God Bless Him....as I met him 5 months before he passed away in Cerritos, CA. Rest in Peace John.

JD's legacy of refreshing and meaningful songs enriches our lives, especially in this era of unbridled hedonism.

The sad thing about this generation they don't even know who this man is...my kids do..very well ...I made sure of it..they often heard me around the house playing and singing his songs in the evening...and we always and I mean always played John in the car on vacations...one time we left without a few cassettes...ok now I'm dating myself....lol..so we had to get off the road and we went into a truck stop to find a couple..and they had several so I bought them all...I hope that there is someone right now showing a video like this to there children....😁😁

Thanks for passing on good music to your children. My father did the same for me.

Very nice. John's music is amazing. Had a chance to meet his son in Aspen years ago and we had a great conversation. Funny I asked if he could introduce me and he said he was in Cleveland to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. My luck, it's 10 minutes from my home. Glad your here in town Geraldo. Love your show.
