That's what happens when the focus of the game becomes pick pocketing. Which, generally speaking, Assassins and other bad asses don't do. It's why I only lasted about two mins when it first debuted and I found out using a sword for example was apparently frowned upon.
As you probably know, it was supposed to be a DLC. They were halfway there (half of it was already made) when Ubisoft decided to make it a standalone game.
They didn’t have a choice since the engine the rpg games are made on is the engine that Ubisoft made the agreement to use. Also you forget that unity even today is hella janky and buggy on console. It’s not perfect it’s parkour is one of the only things about it that you can say is genuinely the best in the series. The rest is pretty broken and doesn’t even look good. Paris is insane tho I’ll admit. Regardless mirage isn’t supposed to be a unity clone, it’s it’s own thing and having played it I can say it’s definitely worth the time of anyone who likes the series.
@@shahum2248idk about u but the only bugs i’ve encountered in unity was facial deformities but even then that occurred in only two cutscenes. combat was way better too, even though it was a counter kill system, there was still a challenge to entering combat, stealth was way better too AND it had co-op which was way more fun.
Just played AC Mirage, then AC 4 Black Flag and then Unity in about 1 month and i already played Black Flag few times and also unity once. And i can say that the Parkour feels much better and not as buggy like in Unity (Unity still one of the best). Also the NPCs are much better in Mirage and no one can prove me different. They react on a different Level. Also playing stealth is much better in Mirage.
I know its minor but water reaching land looks like better in Valhalla than Mirage where its no realistic water collision. I know its ocean with waves vs still river or water but still tho.
I'm glad they can since horses are in fact quite good swimmers IRL. What they can't do is survive jumping off a cliff and remain unscathed. That is unless one has Phobos, the winged horse, who takes no fall damage whatsoever, regardless of height. BTW I'm referring to AC Odyssey.
Assassins creed 2 ezio franchise combat was the best you could shit on people with just using your hands counter attacks lol. Blackflag than ac3 were my favourite.
Valhalla is seriously amazing.. i just started playing it and have just gotten through the first england area and im just like wow this game is awesome.. it reminds me a lot of ghost of tsushima but instead of japan its england.. theres so much to do and areas are always unique and interesting.. it took me 12 hours to do the prologue and 12 hours for the first area. i might even turn off the entire hud and play it more like tsushima or elden ring but i dont want to miss any resources so maybe not.. seriously raiding the first monastery was so fun.. at one point im just like are we the baddies?
In what respect…Origins is more AC than Mirage. Mirage is just Valhalla in the Middle East. Sure, Mirage has a “tiny bit” more stealth gameplay, but the combat system is still the same…even after the devs “claimed” they were going back to “AC’s roots” and changing back to the older (AC4 and older) AC combat system, which they did not, exactly the same as Valhalla…Origins combat was more similar to the original formula than this…
@usmc4good basicly the mission structure and stealth making you feel like a assasin. Mirage has you look for clues to uncover the next objective in your hunt to know your next objective. It's all layoed out very nice showing you what is needed to do. In origins it just feels like random quest markers and side markers on a map which are random ,basicly origins is a regular rpg experience not actions stealth game like mirage. Also origins has level enemies where you can't kill a bandit. It's just a weird experience
@shahenshahin1274 matter of fact,…I’m playing it right now…not only is your comment irrelevant, but playing these games without combat is boring…I don’t play games to sneak around in the bushes the whole time, and never engage in combat…
Yeah it's not like Ubisoft has 10 different teams across the world or anything... This is Ubisoft Bordeaux's first game and before Mirage they only made a Valhalla DLC, so it's obvious that in just 2 years they only had Valhalla to start developing Mirage.
Dude all of the Assassin's Creed games are essentially DLC; they all reuse assets during each generation. Throughout this RPG generation, all four games reused most of their animations and assets from the first game in the RPG generation, AC Origins. A notable example of this is its idle animation, which has remained the same throughout this generation, with just a few new animations added. The same goes for the Ezio and Altair generation, as well as the Kenway generation, including Rogue. And the next generation of AC games will likely do the same.
No its not, Mirage is stealth af, while valhalla is pure rpg. I played every ac (yes both have same engine and that) but Mirage is much more like the old ones than Valhalla and u would know that if u would play atleast for 1-2 hours. There is no suvh thing as Level. Stealth is pure enjoyment. I literally felt like im playing some og shit ( not mucg content is the only meh point) but still. The NPCs are much better programmed. Its literally a joy to play stealth.
@@Johndeniro It is so difficult to understand that for me, Assassins Creed Valhalla, if you value it as an Assassins Creed, is worse than Mirage, but as a game in general it is much better?

The moment they shoun us the gameplay in 2022 I knew this is going to be a budget product I mean they didn't even change the animations from the recent trilogy and most of the assets like palm trees where reused from origins
Because it IS a budget product. It costs less too. Tbh I felt Odyssey was better than Valhalla. There was a bit more than the newer game. Plus I felt it wouldve been better if Odyssey wasnt an AC game. I felt it wouldve been better to have its own title.
Yeah. In terms of detail and animation, these games are far from even the Witcher 3 2015. I’m generally silent about RDR2. and the animations of the horses look absolutely funny. a large downgrade is visible even compared to Assassin's Creed Unity 2014.
Im gonna be honest Mirage feels better than valhalla idk why, maybe bc I tried valhalla and it was very overwhelming and tedious to explore, and it felt like a fighting game and not the same as the other ac games. But for some reason it feels more “complete” I guess bc its bigger and gives that impression. those shores be waterproof on Mirage XD.....dats how oil reacts on a non-stick cooking pan😂😂

Man I was literally thinking the same thing 😂 it didn’t look like that in my game at least from the shorelines I’ve seen lmao
when AC Unity plays and looks more next gen than mirage.. why did they have to stick with the same parkour system as valhalla? :')
@@eddiebell9486I have to agree with both of you. I love both Mirage and Unity.
Also playing stealth is much better in Mirage.
imagine uploading a detail-comparison in 2023 in 1080p 🤦🏽
I know its minor but water reaching land looks like better in Valhalla than Mirage where its no realistic water collision. I know its ocean with waves vs still river or water but still tho.
Okay I never knew that mounts can swim...
Nice. Do this with Origins.
Done😉
Watch the comparison video on my channel😁
@@iamgmnvdr nice!
Assassins creed 2 ezio franchise combat was the best you could shit on people with just using your hands counter attacks lol. Blackflag than ac3 were my favourite.
AC3 combat is smooth as butter
Valhalla is seriously amazing.. i just started playing it and have just gotten through the first england area and im just like wow this game is awesome.. it reminds me a lot of ghost of tsushima but instead of japan its england.. theres so much to do and areas are always unique and interesting.. it took me 12 hours to do the prologue and 12 hours for the first area. i might even turn off the entire hud and play it more like tsushima or elden ring but i dont want to miss any resources so maybe not.. seriously raiding the first monastery was so fun.. at one point im just like are we the baddies?
How
AC Mirage water = Oil 💀
Different place
its lake and different places
I wish origins was like mirage
@@wingedhussar1453 ah ok understood…
@shahenshahin1274 matter of fact,…I’m playing it right now…not only is your comment irrelevant, but playing these games without combat is boring…I don’t play games to sneak around in the bushes the whole time, and never engage in combat…
@@usmc4goodthat's not true!
0:45 Why eivor scream like that😂
It looks like the only people that actually work at Ubisoft are the ones working on world design because that's the only thing that has changed
Yeah it's not like Ubisoft has 10 different teams across the world or anything... This is Ubisoft Bordeaux's first game and before Mirage they only made a Valhalla DLC, so it's obvious that in just 2 years they only had Valhalla to start developing Mirage.
@@toastyvampire6741well i think they did a good job and definitely a step in right direction
So they won’t make Beyond Good and Evil 2, but they’ll keep churning out this shit.
Ubisoft really are a skidmark on the underpants of modern gaming.
after unity and syndicate new engine textures are really low only some color enhancement even facial textures are not that much good
mirage environment looks so good it kinda gives nostalgic feeling from Origins in valhalla every thing is messed and repetative
Why are you comparing them? Mirage is basically a DLC for Valhalla. They're the same. Lol
I was just about to say the same thing…Mirage is just Valhalla in the middle east, same damn game other than looks…
@@usmc4goodagain you
No its not, Mirage is stealth af, while valhalla is pure rpg.
@@adnan2299 ok you obviously just want to argue because you are completely dismissing points I made in my comment so we are done here…
The fall comparison is ridiculous
Ac Valhalla is probably worst Ac Game than Mirage but Ac Valhalla is much better game than Mirage by far
Your grammar is so bad, historians will be debating different theories in 300 years from now trying to interpret what you said.
@@Johndeniro It is so difficult to understand that for me, Assassins Creed Valhalla, if you value it as an Assassins Creed, is worse than Mirage, but as a game in general it is much better?
Mirage gameplay is way too short... Can be just called DLC from Odyssey
Ah? I'm 22 hours in and barely half way through, not every game has to be 160 hours of bloated and meaningless content. More is not always better.
Ah, Ubisoft. Truly the beacon of mediocrity in the gaming medium. Don't take any risks, just keep making the same game for 13 years.
but why 160+gb for valhalla
Too many events, 4k textures on weapons and trying to have stuff from the expansions even if you don't own any
Amazing comparison
Story is better in valhalla, combat is much more fun, characters are way more interesting. Idk. Mirage tries to be classic AC in Valhalla engine and that's why it fails.
leap of faith was changed in asassin creed mirage
ac mirage was quite similar to ac origin
The moment they shoun us the gameplay in 2022 I knew this is going to be a budget product I mean they didn't even change the animations from the recent trilogy and most of the assets like palm trees where reused from origins
Because it IS a budget product. It costs less too. Not to mention it's the first game Ubisoft Bordeaux makes, they only made one Valhalla DLC before Mirage, they also only had two years to develop one game, only had access to Valhalla's engine as a base for Mirage... Should I say more? Get more info before hating on a game you probably haven't even played :/
so ??? we gonna pay more $60 to get the same game but different skin and story, i love AC franchise but sick to be stolen money legit from ubi, so im done to give money on this complete mix trap Origin and Valhalla, lol.@@toastyvampire6741
it was meant to be a DLC for Valhalla but halfway through production ubisoft instead wanted a quick cash grab and made it a standalone game
@@eddiebell9486 "halfway through production" lmaoo this is how I know you're just here to hate, you get all your info from ignorant and hateful comments like yours and it's obvious 💀

Female Eivor: BLEAAAHHH
They sell the same game everytime but at least mirage have clothes physics and weapons don't shrinks.
Man this is the same game how you expect different results lol
Valhalla isn’t bad but I wouldn’t say it’s much of an assassins creed games though
Ubisoft is always use previous game animation
Why the Hell Eivor has Goat Scream Voice...🤣
Tbh I felt Odyssey was better than Valhalla. There was a bit more than the newer game. Plus I felt it wouldve been better if Odyssey wasnt an AC game. I felt it wouldve been better to have its own title.
Is that so hard to bring AC Unity's parkour back? I don't think so
Mirage > valhala for me
Mirage feels way faster then Valhalla definitely same engine but maybe it’s that bagdad was built for parkour ❤
Old Gen Game of Assassin's creed Is The Best but the next gen is good
SO I LOVE OLD 🎮♥😎

Graphics are better on Valhalla
Avatar and ac will be goty for me
About chromatic aberration, turn off HDR and it will disappear. (You're Welcome)

Water looks better in Valhalla
yea probably because theres a lot more areas with water in england and europe, but in iraq there is a lot less
vallhalla at sea mirage at lakes not in seas both are different vro
3:23 it's an animus glitch
Yeah. In terms of detail and animation, these games are far from even the Witcher 3 2015. I’m generally silent about RDR2. and the animations of the horses look absolutely funny. a large downgrade is visible even compared to Assassin's Creed Unity 2014.
why is the water edges on mirage is like this?XD
Why water in mirage looks like oil 😂
In middle of a desert it's mug by sand so representation are correct.
@@SamReconI know bro. It's a good detail but I was talking about that part 6:51 their reaction is horrible
@@ofcourse.owaliddowngrade physics sadly you are right.
Mirage feels like the perfect game to complete in one go, and enjoy the entire map without feeling overwhelmed by it (but it doesnt feel like a full game; I havent played it yet tho)
🤣😂
Mirage NPCs are miles better than Valhalla's actually. First of all, better NPC density, and these guys react to parkour you do, similar to AC1.
It’s still in early release so the should be more updates
Valhalla has better cutscenes and voice acting but mirage has better everything else
Looks the same since Origins, the most shocking graphics can be find in Unity (it's a shame the short and the tons of bugs that game has)
Valhalla horse mechanic like a atari
Three years for Mirage. Ubisoft??? I have no idea 🤷♂️
so you want an assassin creed game every year or what?
It's still a game worth playing and experiencing, but maybe it's because I put too much expectation on the Mirage.😂
