Yahoo!!! Bacon, cabbage, garlic, sausage...all my most favorite things on Earth!! Thank you, President Betty B., for legislating a Cabbage in every Amercan family's pot! This is a scrumptious combo that I will be making tomorrow. By the way, when will you be releasing your President BB's most beloved Recipe Book?? I'll buy it for sure!! 🥓🧄🧄🍽
Definitely love cabbage Rockstar Betty! This looks fantastic, I really need to try this on the griddle . This is definitely a try for sure! Hope you have a fantastic week! Cheers 🥂
Fantastic! Hated cabbage as a child, but now that I'm well past childhood, I enjoy cabbage... normally use the Dutch oven but will definitely do on the Blackstone now. Appreciate you and thanks for the wonderful content!
Brussel Sprouts are literally one of my favorites on the griddle although I love all veggies on it…but shredded brussel sprouts are always a favorite and I’ve gotten even the haters to actually like them that way! I think it’s a texture thing for so many that THINK they don’t like them! Ha now I want some 🤤
Love your videos!!!! I can’t seem to find the Blackstone Knife that you used in this video. If there’s a link for that specific knife could you possibly post it. Thanks 😊
That looks excellent. I’m gonna have to steal this and make it today, but add my own twist to it. I don’t have any blackstone seasoning but I’m gonna slice up a few red and green jalapenos, red onions and bell peppers . I have some jalapeño infused bacon (we like spicy) . Going to use kielbasa instead because that’s what I have on hand and put a good char on the kielbasa. Possibly add in a couple fresh tomatoes at the end. Add some red lobster cheddar biscuits .
I love that! And same I grew up eating it weekly my mom and grandmother’s favorite they make just for a simple lunch! just sauté in garlic olive oil salt and pepper yum!
Hey Betty, I made Shrimp Fried Rice tonight...you didn't get the memo🫢? I love fried Cabbage and bacon, I grew up on it! You Zushed that dish right up🎉 I hope your warm🤗. JO JO IN VT 💞
Cabbage is a staple in many countries, so let's "bring it home" - it is so ggod and versatile - I personally LOVE cabbage rolls so much! - You could make them! Cheers! ♥
I like this idea a lot! Adding flavor to an otherwise “bland” veggie!!! But, hold up a second. At time marker 2:57 ish, you say “…with the center burners turned back on to low,…” so, I saw🫣you twist the center knobs from LO of OFF just at this time…. They were already “low,” not to mention you start all burners on medium LO already anyway… Am I missing a step? Or is the video not in sync with what you mean to keep duration under 10? With them OFF, whatever that bacon plastic container you dumped after that ain’t a-cook n’, not in winter cold anyway…. Betty, I’m so confuuuuuused now!😕 PS: can I do this with kielbasa? Or turkey sausage? What’s a good substitute fir cabbage in the same style when someone with an ostomy is to avoid cabbage/spinach/broccoli (“gassy” veggies)?
Hey Henk you can just cook everything on low. I turned the burners off to allow the bacon to slow down. Im a one man (gal) show here filming myself while trying to cook so I actually need to play with the heat often because I only have two hands and need to run from camera girl to cook. I’m not sure what plastic bacon thing you refer to other than the plastic container of Bacon Up? And you can switch up any protein you like. However if you take away the cabbage than it’s not fried cabbage! You can do fried…any veggie you like with sausage bacon and peppers though. Potatoes, corn, zucchini…lethally anything you want!
@@BlackstoneBetty yup, “plastic bacon thing” = BaconUp… and I found out online the small bin *IS* in the Quarryville (PA) Giant AND the Lancaster Walmart… Thanks for answering.. yeah, I know it’s nit fried *cabbage* without the cabbage… so, it might not be the thing to make for my colon cancer friend…. Thought you might know a cabbage-like (texture) veggie that’s NOT a gassy veggie for the ostomy… dumb question to ask for a sub for the title veggie… 😒 Way to go to handle it yourself… CJ and Nate have peeps enough!🤔🙄 oh well… doing your own video? You GO, girl!!!!!
@@Henk_H I’m glad you can find Bacon up locally! I’d definitely just ask your friend her favorite safe for her veggie to substitute! I’m not sure what the last part meant…CJ and Nate what? Hope you and your friend tweak this for her and enjoy 😊
@@BlackstoneBetty heh heh yup… the “Cj Abd Nate” thing was over the fact that you had to BOTH “film” *AND* cook… they had camera people… so, I was “atta-girling” YOU for handling both….(Sorry CJ and Nate…. Had to give her one for doing both….)
I wouldn’t boil in the bacon Up but you could use some beer water or chicken stock to steam or boil! We do olive oil and a little water for steamed cabbage!
Go Phillies! Charlie Manuel was from my Hometown and went to school with my Dad and Uncles. Way to represent and your recipes are always spot on!

Enjoy it Rob!! Thanks for watching so glad you’re going to make it!
That looks awsome! Definitely going to try this.
Cabbage on the Blackstone is the best. Brussel sprouts too. Hated them until I got a griddle now my entire family likes them.

Girrrrl you nailed it. Yum. Cabbage in any form is one of my favorate foods. It's a southern thing I guess. Loved it sense I was a child.

What is the brand/name of the knife that you are using when cutting the peppers?
Also do you post your recipes anywhere?
Nice job Betty! I love fried cabbage and sausage. Throw on some Cholula or your favorite hot sauce and it doesn’t get much better than that.😃
Ohhh garlic cholula 🤩

Your shirt is broken. I recommend a Texas Rangers World Series 2023 winner shirt to fix it. :)
