I was listening to a bunch of covers to this song today and came across this video. She blows them all away just sitting on a chair in her studio. She's the real deal. Such a unique nostalgic beautiful voice.

Then after a divorce, Jeff Trott. I'm so appreciative of Sheryl Crow and her accompanists. Particularly Jeff. On Sheryl Crow. It's guitar I love best. I hear Jeff's creativity at the crest of many influences. These are the kinds of talents they are beyond any region. Reaching into a land universally both entirely public and yet private to each one. And I add, a land where things when just spoken fail and only music seems real.
Lots of fun! I had just watched the AD video while I was learning this tune (squirrel) so when I saw this one and played my bass along with it, I felt transported to many acoustic jams at parties, only in this case I was in the barn I had just toured. Thanks Sheryl for letting me sit in!

Back in the late 90s I recieved this song on a cd from some music magazine, I can't remember the name. I believe the acoustic version that was on the cd was out before the studio version. I was so disappointed that the acoustic version got scrapped, because it was by far, my favorite song. Sheryl you have one of the most buttery voices of all time. Ty! Love this video! Cheers
